The pictures of the Above the Seas didn’t do it any justice; it’s far more beautiful. It had a homey yet rich feeling to it. We had all the staples to be able to cook meals at our home away from home and I took full advantage of it. We were near shops, pharmacies, bakeries, restaurants, surfing school, horse rentals, & the amazing beaches. We enjoyed the AC in our rooms, the rich dark wooden hacienda feel furniture & the jetted bath tub, and cable TV. We got to meet the locals & they were lovely, friendly, helpful people. Ricon Puerto Rico is a magical place. The morning we were leaving I woke up & tears were just streaming down my face, I was not ready to return to Miami just yet. I can't wait to go back. All the other places there were beautiful_ Aguada, Cabo Rojo, Isabela, Aguadilla, San Juan, Old San Juan, Ponce, Lajas, Yauco, Guayannilla, Jayuya, Hormigueros, Las Marias, Añasco, Moca, Quebradillas, Camuy, Hatillo, Arecibo, Barceloneta and Mayaguez mall, but Rincon was just absolutely beautiful and amazingly peaceful; an emotional retreat. We were able to disengage from all stressful thoughts. We lived care free for a week. I wish I could have stayed another week or week & a half at the very least. The sunrise and sunsets were truly magical and the silence was only interrupted by the melodic sounds of nature. Our stay at Above the Seas was absolutely priceless. We are considering going back for the holidays or some time in March and we will definitely be staying at one of the Above the Seas Villas, either at the Carmen or the Petite suite or the Raven depending on how many of us are going back; even my 17 & 19 year olds loved it. Thank you for all the information you provided us with to assist in planing our trip itinerary and for accommodating our needs. If you ever decide to put your place up for sale I want first bids. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

I just want to start off by saying thank you to Tito for being so helpful and caring. Making sure we got to the villa safe and sound even though it was 1 o'clock in the morning. He even called the next day to make sure we were ok.
As far as the Villa, it is beautiful. Loved the rooms and the balcony has a gorgeous view of the mountains. You can have breakfast of the terrace and then drive to the beach about a mile away. I loved it so much.
I can not recommend this place enough. I enjoyed it so much. I hope you consider staying here. You are in great hands in a great place.

My boyfriend and I just returned from Puerto Rico. We stayed in several places around the island. Above the Seas in Rincon was by far the best! We truly enjoyed the "homey" feeling of the suite and the balcony views morning and night. We would definately stay here again!

My boyfriend and I were so overwhelmed at how beautiful the place was and the decor was so perfect and serene down to the patio furnishings! The views were spectacular especially at twilight and it was very romantic!! I had a great time in Rincon!! Thank u so much for making the experience so pleasant!

I had the wonderful pleasure of staying at the Above the Sea Retreat with my girlfriend Ingrid and our two dear friends Rafael and Clarissa. The home is a perfect blend of class and comfort. Its really close to the beach but the best thing for me was the view. We climbed on the roof and just soaked up the mountains, the sky and the sea. A great place to reach up and touch heaven. When we go back we will definitely be giving you a call.

My freind and I stayed at Above the Sea villa at Ricon PR. The staying was so relaxing with the veiw of the mountain and the clean fresh air. The beaches are within minutes from the villa. The place is very exquisite. Im looking foward for my return visit.

I love Above the Sea! I stayed at the 2 bedroom suite and truly enjoyed. The interiors with it warm earthy colors, the dark wood Plantation furniture remind me of the "haciendas" old days but with the modern conveniences. My favorite is the balcony about the trees. Sitting there in the mornings, watching the white clouds go by through the bright blue sky, feeling the cold morning breeze while enjoying a warm cup of strong, aromatic Puerto Rican coffee is my idea of paradise.

Hey thanks for a great vacation. I really love traveling, and I discovered Rincon a couple of years ago. I've been there many times since, but thanks to your majestical retreat house, this has been one of my most pleasurable and memorable stays. The house is stunning! Staying there made me feel like a pampered guest in a house of elegance. It's away from it all, but at the same time just takes a quick drive to get to the center of town, and the beautiful beaches of Rincon. The views are absolutely breathtaking! Talk about spiritual awakening! I can't wait to return. Thanks again for a great experience.

Coming from New York City, my boyfriend and I looked forward to just getting away. Little did we know that we would stay at the most relaxing, spa type, yet comfortable carribean spot. In the morning we would have breakfast on the balcony and greet the cows and the exotic birds,to enjoy the incredible lush view of the island! With just a short trip to the beach, on the way we also experienced the real feel of the community by stopping at the local gym/track to do a few laps and pump some iron before heading to the beautiful blue water and white sand. Take route 413 and you won't be dissappointed!! I will be back!!!

I stayed at Above the Sea Retreat house for 10 wonderful days in the 2-bedroom suite. The home has breathtaking views of the valley and ocean, and is located in a tranquil neighborhood. My husband and I slept in the back bedroom, which has spectacular morning light as the sun rises. The kitchen opens to a balcony that sweeps in the ocean breeze. We were pampered guests who had every amenity we needed to make our stay memorable and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

We have some new mountain bikes, which I'm sure Matt will be happy to hear about. Tell him that next time he'll be able to go biking around the hills near the lighthouse and alongside the beaches.
