Spend your evenings inside this immaculate cottage with hardwood floors, cozy fireplace, 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms plus a spacious 2nd floor room for hours of fun. Daily activities may include: fishing, swimming or riding kayaks. You might also want to enjoy a good book while sitting on the dock, surrounded by Maine's great pines.

Amenities: Linens provided, coffee maker, cooking utensils, microwave, toaster, telephone, internet, VCR, Cable TV, washer & dryer, Private Dock, paddle-boat, BBQ grill, hammock, patio and beach chairs.

Perfect Girls Getaway

Our one week stay at this lakeside home was just perfect. The description and the photos were right on. The owner was very professional in his communication with us with everything spelled out in the lease agreement. Rented with my two sisters and our 90 year old mother who is vision impared and must use a cane to get around. The downstairs bedrooms and bathroom worked well for her to get around on her own. She loves to sit on the beach as well and the minimal stairs leading to the beach worked well. Also, a glider swing which she enjoyed that allowed her to sit in the shade when she chose. Great place for children of all ages as well. We had our grandchildren visit and there were beach toys, fishing nets , ladder ball, a swing, the list goes on!
My sisters and I explored the lake with the two kayaks provided, ahhhh, peace and tranquility!
Our only regret is that we didn't book another week!!

Our family just enjoyed a wonderful week at this home. It is perfect if you are looking for a quiet cove and a sandy beach (which is hard to find because so many rentals are deep water dock only). Its a perfect rental if you have kids because from the sandy beach it is a gradual sandy entry before it gets deep. There is also a dock that is perfect for fishing off of and at the end its deep enough to jump off of. My 7 year old caught 2 fish right from the dock and also jumped off the end of it constantly. The house itself is perfect, immaculately clean and well stocked. This is a great rental property!

Fabulous - especially w/ young children!

We rented this home w/ another family the first week of August and we were extremely pleased with everything about the rental. Although the weather didn't cooperate well that week, we enjoyed the spaciousness of the rooms and the incredible view of the water when the rain kept us indoors.

The beach, the quiet cove, the kid's swing, the fire pit, and use of the kayaks and paddle boat made this location exceptional for our three year old.

The home is well stocked in terms of amenities and we would recommend this vacation spot to anyone.

Perfect for families

This is our 3rd summer renting this cottage. We live in MA and are originally from ME. We have three young children ages 7, 5, and 4. The cottage is beautiful with all the comforts of home - laundry, grill, full kitchen, lots of sleeping space.... The sandy beach is ideal. My husband and I are able to relax while the kids play in the water or the sand. Private cove is ideal as there are no waves and very little boat traffic. The cottage is always clean and beautifully maintained. We love using the fire pit on the beach after the kids go to sleep. The cottage is in a quiet private location, yet is close to area restaurants and grocery stores in Windham, plus only 20 minutes from Portland. I would highly recommend!!
