Hi - I bought this wonderful home in 2008 because it's a true escape from my hectic NYC life (I work in the media world). I grew up in the NY area, went to Drew University in NJ and currently live in Manhattan.
My blood pressure drops the second I pull into the driveway at Northrup Road. It's a beautiful drive or an easy train ride from NYC - 2 hours door to door either way. However, you truly feel like you're in the middle of the English countryside (although the house is very close to the charming country store and local shops).
Gorgeous trees and wonderful flowers circle the property and the large deck. The charm of a home built in the early 1900's that's perfectly restored. Stunning (if I do say so myself) fabric, artwork and furniture. This place is one of a kind - inside and out!
