Wonderful Getaway!!

This was our first visit to Oceanside, and it won't be our last. It's a very family-friendly community, nice beaches. We enjoyed the condo - two kids, two adults - and really appreciated the beach equipment such as boogie boards and umbrellas and chairs. Also, the complex itself is very nice - the swimming pool is warm and feels great after coming in from the beach!

We'd stay here again for sure.

We have been at vacationing here for the last four years and are looking forward to the 5th year and more after that (We are retired). Oceanside weather is perfect as far as we are concerned. There is always much to do - close to LA/Orange County and San Diego, but best of all, right on the beautiful sandy beaches. We walk, ride bikes, jog and swim. We love to take photos and the opportunities here are limitless.

North Coast Village is impeccable! The people are all great and sincerely want to make your stay a happy one. The owners are super people and have bent over backwards in every way possible to make our stays truly great vacations. When they tell you all you need is your PJ's and a change of clothes - they mean it! My wife and I are amazed with them - Wonderful People! We have talked two other couples into coming to NCV the same time as us and stay in the complex. We also have convinced other friends and relatives to visit and everyone tells us that we have found the "Hidden Gem" on the California coast.

We enjoyed a wonderful 10 days at this unit. It was clean, well appointed, and wonderfully close to the beach. Upon arrival, we had problems accessing the internet (an important aspect to our selection of this unit) and the owner was very diligent in addressing the issue, so we were connected within a couple of days. We really appreciated his efforts. The entire condo complex is very nice, with lots of amenities (though we didn't use any!).

The only downside to this unit is that it's an end unit, which means that the external stairs used by other tenants to/from the beach pass right outside the bedroom window. We would have liked to have had the BR blinds open during our stay, but for privacy had to keep them closed. This wasn't a huge thing, as the stairs are used only by people in nearby units (just to clarify that this wasn't the only access to the beach from the complex, & there wasn't a constant stream of foot traffic...), but it might make me consider other units in the complex in the future, depending on rates, etc.

We patronized some of the restaurants at the nearby harbor. Would recommend Dominic's (Italian/pizza), but not so keen on Joe's Crab Shack. If you want really good seafood, make the short drive to King's Fish House in Carlsbad.

My family was extremely pleased with our stay in this condo. It was clean and comfortable...it felt like home! We love oceanside and will be sure to stay here again soon.

We had a fun and relaxing week at the Oceanside beach. The condo, Oceanside101, met our family's needs and expectations wonderfully. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat right there. We were able to walk to the beach, the pier and the marina. There were chairs, toys and an umbrella for the beach so we didn't have to bring lots of extras. We also enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and barbecue area at North Coast Village. The weather was perfect all week with temperatures in the low 70's and sunshine. We were able to visit Legoland and the Zoo with reasonable drives to both. We would certainly return in the future.
