Welcome to our comfortable modern bungalow, ideally located just 2 miles from the slopes (that’s closer than units on Boyne’s own property!) golf, beach, or downtown shopping. Adjacent to two family friendly neighborhoods, if you come here with children you will find safe places to explore on foot or by bicycle. Just a short 1/2 mile ride or walk and you will find yourself lost in the beautiful Offield Family Nature Preserve.

The mid century modern decor and furnishings are a refreshing compliment to the striking craftsman inspired exterior. Our open floor plan features a main level kitchen, dining, living room, bath room, and master bedroom. The lower level is host to the family room. The family room features a dining area, 51” PLASMA TV, DVD, VHS, Wii gaming, ping pong, and other board games.

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms comfortably serve eight guests. All bedrooms feature a clock radio, programmable ceiling fan, and large windows for your comfort. Additional features of each room include:

And last but not least, grab a friend and head out to the porch swing. It is a delightful place to listen to the birds, read a book, or enjoy the late afternoon sun. Relax here with a glass of (insert favorite beverage here) and let it all go.

About Lisa Dannenberg

Joe grew up here in harbor springs and I grew up in Okemos, Michigan. We are renting out our home so that we can do a little bit of travelling and share the world with our son.

Why Lisa Dannenberg chose Harbor Springs

We built our home from the ground up in 2006. We spent the first half of our marriage living in a family homestead that was destroyed by a house fire when our son was just five weeks old. We had always wanted to move to Harbor Springs, so we took the chance and searched for a family friendly yet scenic neighborhood. We love the natural beauty and the resort amenities of our town. This house represents a whole new life for us - one that we didn't plan for - but which chose us. We are happy to share it with you.

What makes this house unique

This is a well cared for up to date home. When you leave - it is likely that we will be coming back to live here for a spell, take care of it, and keep it ready for the next renter. This house is closer to the ski lodge than houses on Boyne's own property.

Awesome House, Close to Nubs

My sister's family and I rented this home over New Years. It was perfect - great layout, lots of space, fully equipped and modern decor. The best part for us was the location, very close to Nubs Knob where we skied. I appreciated the garage and garage opener - sure made it nice to not worry about snow on the car and made loading/unloading very easy. The house was exactly as described and the owner was a breeze to work with, very responsiveness. Hope you enjoy too!

Contemporary yet cozy getaway

We were a group of six who found this beautifully appointed and cozy retreat to be the perfect ski weekend getaway. The home is ideally located very close to Boyne Highlands - literally a few minutes drive. For those of us who don't ski, the house is a comfortable and cozy place to read by the fire, enjoy some music and have a glass of wine or a hot toddy. Also ideally located to Harbor Springs and Petoskey for great restaurants, shopping, etc. The home feels secluded, but is still very convenient to all local attractions. The kitchen is large, with all the comforts of home - although we chose to dine out in the evenings, we enjoyed breakfasts and pre-dinner hor's doeuvres around the kitchen island or in front of the fire. The guys watched Sunday football on the lower level big screen, leaving the sitting room free for the readers/music-lovers in our group. Beds were very comfortable and the heated floors in each bathroom really warmed up those cold mornings. This was a delightful place to spend a long winter weekend and we will definitely be returning. Beautiful house near Nubs and Boyne Highlands

We enjoyed our stay at this impressive and comfortable home. The home is beautifully finished, furniture and beds very comfortable. It's very convenient to the ski hills (Nubs and the Highlands), Harbor Springs and Petoskey for shopping, and the Petoskey sledding hill. The wood-burning fireplace was so comfortable for relaxing after being outdoors all day. We have a large family and everyone had room to spread out. The kids enjoyed the games, ping pong, fuzbol, and we enjoyed having a full kitchen, 2 car garage, and a private bathroom.
I will certainly stay here again on our next trip up north and would recommend it to anyone with a large family that needs a lot of space. The price for the house was comparable to the local nice hotels, but we had a lot more room, and we saved a ton of money by cooking and eating at home.

Very hospitable owners, very convenient location and well kept property. House in very good repair and comfortable. Bathroom attached to upstairs bedroom, which I loved! Plenty of room for everyone with plenty of privacy. Fast internet. Highly recommended as home away from home. You may never want to leave....
Close to downtown Harbor Springs, and not far from Petoskey, so lots of shopping and dining options! Really fun places to experiences nearby. Awesome place to stay.

Home away from home

We enjoyed our stay very much. Relaxation is the key word - under the stars in the hot tub and then sipping wine by that beautiful fire, wrapped in cozy terry robes -Wonderful. This home seems very private, nestled in its own little woods. It has a unique layout with plenty of room for the whole family. From the upstairs deck we could enjoy the fire red sunsets. Also, just down the road is a great nature trail for hiking. Bring your bicycle and ride the country roads to feast your eyes on the view. We love the antique shops (especially that one big barn one a few miles away) and all the great places to browse near by in town. Can't wait for the snow when we come again -since this home is only 2 miles to Boyne Highlands. Not another home like it. Thanks.

I loved the modern look of the interior. The hot tub was of course a super plus and the main living room and kitchen was wide open with a spacious comfortable feel to it.
I for sure give it two thumbs up!
Owner's Response: The open floor plan is great for allowing those cooking to be a part of the socializing at the same time.

*hot tub is not currently operable.

Beautiful home, will definitely stay again!

My husband and I stayed here last January for a long weekend. We were very happy with the home. The house itself was super clean and comfortable. We were impressed with the modern decor of the house ( very much our style). We plan on staying here again for weekend getaways. Would highly reccomend.
