Here is your chance to enjoy one of Forest Lake's newest treasures, "Camp IDRA"... was purpose built for simple relaxation with pure peace and quiet being the prime pleasures. With two bedrooms, one bath and a wonderful sleeping nook, "IDRA" offers comfortable sleeping for up to 5 guests, while the fully equipped kitchen is set up to feed you all in fine fashion, gas BBQ Grill included. This home is long on lake views, however it is short on TV signal, as there is no satellite or cable, though the northern lights come free and frequently. The fishing, kayaking and swimming to be enjoyed on Forest Lake is sure to entertain you as well, and all NH's major White Attractions will be within an hours drive, or less!

Lake Retreat
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

The vacation rental was spotless.

IDRA is a very relaxing place, the property was nice, the being able to totally unplug due to no wifi and cable and spotty cell was needed. would definitely come back and recommend to a friend.

Mr. Maki is accurate in that the road to the house is a bit narrow and steep in one section, and not well suited for low-ground clearance vehicles. Porche & Corvette owners please take note, however anyone with a mid-size car or better will have little trouble getting to or from the home. We also wish some insight was provided as to why the home was rated as a "3" for 'property condition', as the house is not 3 years old, and lives as an all new home still. We are left to wonder if it was the styling of constuction vs. condition of the home that was not to their closest liking. In any event, we regret that Mr. Maki did not find his time at IDRA to be to their best liking.

This is an ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed our stay at IDRA especially lakeside. The July 4th fireworks was a special treat to see over the lake. IDRA is also convenient to access other sights near Franconia & Lincoln. The house manager was quick to respond and take care of the trash bag that had been left outside the house. The only downside was the absence of a TV/dvd player that was supposed to be there as per the website.
