We spent our spring break at Villa Bennmaya along with another couple and their two daughters. The property has enough space for (4) adults and (4) teenagers to sleep comfortably. Each room has (2) full size beds, walk in closets and spacious showers setup with beach towels and straw hats to protect you from the sunny days during your stay. When the weather does not allow you to be by the pool, you can relax in the living room and dining room with space for 8 people.
Our driver for the week helped us coordinate additional excursions, took us shopping and site seeing on the island. We spend time on local beaches and had the opportunity to ride Jet Skis. Some took advantage of the opportunity to arrange massages.
The Bennmaya staff prepared breakfast and dinner during our stay. Most mornings we had eggs that were tastefully prepared. The staff prepared salt fish with local spices. We also had fried chicken with jerk dipping sauce, fish, ox tail stew and goat.
The staff also guided us on our first walk to the beach very close to the villa and pointed out some of local trees that grow ackee.
We went tubing down the Dunns River, climbed the falls and went horseback riding. We also went on a private glass bottom boat where we had the chance to snorkel.
The staff helped us to coordinate dinner at the Ruins restaurant which has a falls running through the center of the eatery.
