Beach Palms 108 OK but needs some upgrades.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
The property manager was more than helpful.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
This is the 3rd consecutive year we have stayed in BP#108,a total of 5 weeks. The good: location; LR,DR,MBR,2ndBR furnitur although the second bedroom needs new shades and better mattresses. The bad: bugs(4)over this latest 2 wks,(told FLLS about 1st one,Killed all of them didn't experience this in either '09 or'10, prognosis: going dn. hill); baths fixtures and bowls worn out & ugly; MB showerdoor frame needs a major de-crusting of lime; dishwasher worn-needs a wheel, & de-crusting of lime, refrigerator auto defrost leaves water under crispers; range top glaze is worn out, all pans leave marks on it; pots & pans does anyone look at them when tenants change to see how dirty&/or burnt up they are? Front door dead bolt is worn to the point where it takes approx. 2 mins. to lock it. The complex it self has a problem(I assume with owners permission) allowing not only too many persons per condo overnight but also bringing lots more in to use the pool, and grills on weeks ends, especially Memorial Day weekend(3 consecutive years). You asked...hope this is helpful at least that's my intent, PS We also have rented BP#109 at the same time for 3 years. We continue to use 108 because of its' proximity to 109.

Owners Response:Thank you for the feedback about your experience renting our condominium. Unit 108 at Beach Palms is our second home and we have attempted to maintain the unit in excellent condition. The unit is professionally cleaned after each rental, Since we live less than 20 miles from the condo, both my wife and I visit the condo often and attempt to identify and repair any items that need correcting. The entire condominium complex including the interior of the units are serviced professionally and regularly by a pest control company and we have had no other reports of pests from the other renters. There was a problem with the front door and it looked like someone had attempted to open the door with significant amounts of beach sand on the key. Unfortunately, the locks do not function very well with sand and the locks were repaired. A new Jenn-Air stove was installed in 2009 and all mattresses in the guest room were replaced in early 2011.
