I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very happy with the location.
The vacation rental was clean.
The property manager was very helpful.

We've been coming to Palm Island since 1992 when our youngest daughter was less than a year old. This year all three of our daughters, one boyfriend and our grandson accompanied us. Although we generally prefer staying in one of the Land's End cottages, this time we stayed in a Beach Villa 3-bedroom unit, and had a very nice experience overall. The location was really close to the beach, which we loved, and we enjoyed easy access to a fresh water pool and barbecue grills which we used daily. We love Palm Island for so many reasons, including the quiet atmosphere, relaxed pace, absence of cars, pristine cleanliness of the beach, great shelling, wading and swimming...and did I mention how quiet it is! Great, regular, reliable, friendly ferry service (in all kinds of weather) makes trips to the mainland, when necessary, easy and fast. Over the course of more than twenty years of stays at Palm Island we have been very satisfied with the condition of the villas and cottages and the way they are equipped. During our most recent stay, although the villa was in good condition and nicely furnished and equipped, there were a few maintenance issues (stair banisters which needed cleaning, mildew in one bathroom, and air filters that needed to be replaced) which were not typical of our previous experiences. Overall we love Palm Island Resort, and plan to return again soon!

Have been staying at PI ever since it opened. Obviously we like it there and will go back. The front office staff has changed and at times seemed unwilling/unable to solve guest's problems. Not a deal breaker because I don't go there and hang out in the office, but there was a palpable change in customer focus.
The Resturant definitely needs some new directions. The food was only average this time around and service was poor...long wait times, getting take out orders correct etc. I would expect much better given the cost you incure by going to the resturant. Barge men and Bell boys were great as usual.
