we originally were told per the booking website for Palm Island that we were renting a 3rd floor room. We specifically look for this incase there are loud guests and we won't have to hear them bang around above us. When we got to the island we were placed in a 1st floor room. That afternoon and into the next day all we heard was loud banging and scraping noises as it turns out a family with a couple young kids were staying above us. We were woken up by the banging about 0700. The manager was very nice when we checked out and gave us a partial refund for our inconvienence. The point is tho, and I hope Palm Island takes this seriously, is don't rent rooms on the 2nd or 3rd floor to families with kids,and rent the room that the website tells you your reserving not a different room

Fair experience. We have been to better "resorts" for less $. Interior of one bedroom needs updating. Pool is motel style not resort. No mentional activities on Island. I'd recommend Naples or Marco Island for west coast vacation or get-a-way.

THE ACCOMADATIONS WERE FIRST CLASS. WE HAD A BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE SUNSET THAT MADE OUR GLASS OF WINE TASTE LIKE SOMETHING SPECIAL.
