This vacation paradise truly is breathtaking. The moment you enter, you are surrounded by unobscured views of the teal waters of Kona Hawaii.

The recently remodeled home features designer finishes throughout. The luxurious amenities you should expect of your vacation home.

Two large master suites with fully remodeled baths throughout appointed with only the best, both boasting their own private lanais with full on ocean views. The living area and kitchen also have unobscured views of the Pacific. Over 600 sq ft of wrap around lanais, offer almost as much room inside as out. Privacy abounds, the only one to see you off the front of your lanai may be the whales and dolphins as they trek their way along in front of the home.

You will not want to leave the home. This wonderful complex is immaculate and tropically landscaped. You know you have arrived!

Kona Makai is an oceanfront condominium complex of about 100 one and two bedroom units located one mile from the beautiful town of Kailua-Kona. Amenities include an ocean-side swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, cabana area and barbecue area. The whole complex is surrounded by lush manicured and landscaped gardens overflowing with tropical flowers. Enjoy spectacular ocean views, sipping a cup of Kona Coffee while dolphins and whales are splashing around right in front of your Lanai.

The complex has direct access to the black lava Coast of the Pacific ocean for spectacular snorkeling and/or diving and is just a couple of miles down the shoreline from several wonderful beaches with opportunities to enjoy the graceful green sea turtles.

Downtown Kailua-Kona, about one mile away for easy access to shopping, businesses, restaurants and hotels. Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Pier. Visit the famous Farmer's Market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee, have a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang out at the beach. Everything you need and want is readily available in the heart of Kona town.

Warning, you will not want to leave the home to see the sights, but then again you don't need to, it’s all you could want in a vacation stay!

We stayed 3 weeks in 11/09, which was our 3rd visit to this condo. Having a large percentage of owner occupied units, this property is very quiet after 9:00pm - and we appreciate that! There have been a few 'technical glitches' on our visits, mostly as a result of the harsh salt environment on electronics, but that is to be expected and all have been promptly addressed by Prince Properties. We would highly recommend replacement of the sofa & loveseat, as it was new when we were there in 2005 and is now showing a lot of wear. The internet was still an issue, as they are converting the entire property to wi-fi and were still working thru problems. However, none of these issues can possibly outweigh the “pros” of this unit. We've booked our 4th visit this fall, and are looking forward to another wonderful vacation at our favorite condo on all the Islands!

During our stay we had two issues - additional keys to unit were missing and the faucet in the master bath fell off due to salt air erosion. Both issues were handled promptly, professionally and to our satisfaction. We'll return to this unit.

location is great but when we got there one hour early the condo door was wide open, and had not been cleaned. The cleaning crew showed up 10 mins. after I called made the call and did the best they could. it could have been better if it was done wife told me to go easy its just I paid top dollar. All in all its still the best view and I would stay there again

The wrap around lanai is what woukd make this property recommendable. The condo itself needs a thorough, deep cleaning.

Great oceanfront location if you like to hear the pounding surf, and see whales, dolphins and even a turtle from the lanai (we did!). The unit was very-well equiped with quality cookware, and we especially appreciated the blender that allowed us to create smoothies to be enjoyed on the huge lanai while watching for whales, dolphins, and turtles, and other activities taking place on the water. Our party of 4 adults was well accomodated and a good time was had by all.
