Come and enjoy this community at the Kona Makai, vacationers number one choice for return guests. The Kona Makai offers guests lovely lush grounds, and affords many first class amenities.

This 2 bedroom plus loft suite offers high end finishes throughout. The unit has 2 king beds as well as 2 single beds in the loft. The unit is equipped with a full kitchen and all the accruements you need for the finest vacation. The suite offers a great oceanfront view and the complex boasts an oceanfront pool and hot tub, outdoor cooking area, game area and small work out area.

One of the finest of all vacation destinations in Kona.

Kona Makai is an oceanfront condominium complex of about 100 one and two bedroom units located one mile from the beautiful town of Kailua-Kona. Amenities include an ocean-side swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, cabana area and barbecue area. The whole complex is surrounded by lush manicured and landscaped gardens overflowing with tropical flowers. Enjoy spectacular ocean views, sipping a cup of Kona Coffee while dolphins and whales are splashing around right in front of your Lanai.

The complex has direct access to the black lava Coast of the Pacific ocean for spectacular snorkeling and/or diving and is just a couple of miles down the shoreline from several wonderful beaches with opportunities to enjoy the graceful green sea turtles.

Downtown Kailua-Kona, about one mile away for easy access to shopping, businesses, restaurants and hotels. Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Pier. Visit the famous Farmer's Market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee, have a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang out at the beach. WOULD NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN WITH CHILDREN, there is a resident that stalks families with kids and reports the homeowners to their HOA's, she has no Aloha Spirit. The condo was spotless, the mangement team understanding, and they really tried to be accomodating, but this lady just ruined our trip, my kids were scared to back out to the pool because of this woman. This property is NOT CHILD FRIENDLY !!

Overall, excellent. Our big disappointment was that we were told when booking a month's rental, we would be given first priority for the 2013 rental. Sadly, that was not the case when we arrived and tried to make the next year's reservation. A new reservation clerk apparently made a mistake, but we are the ones that suffered. We have found another rental, but this has left a very bad view of Prince Properties.

We enjoyed our stay at your spacious condo and look forward to coming back sometime. No problmens, kitchen had any cooking item we could want for making dinner. We enjoyed the lanai for coffee in the morning and listening to the ocean. Very peaceful. Everything was in working order and you will see us back.

The condo was very nice, comfortable, well supplied and well located - just enough out of town to be quiet, but close enough for a nice walk. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony and could watch the dolphins swim by each morning around 8! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. We will certainly consider this same complex/condo for our next Hawaiian vacation!

We just stayed in the Kona Makai unit 2-301. THE AIR CONDITIONER IN THE MAIN LIVING AREA DOES NOT WORK!!!!!! THE UNIT WAS EXTREMELY HOT, OVER 90 DEGREES ON SOME DAYS. THE AC NEVER GETS THE MAIN LIVING ARE COOL.
