Joan Thompson was born in Belfast, Maine. Graduate of University of Southern Maine. Registered Nurse by vocation. Innkeeper by avocation. Daughter Christabelle lives in Palm Beach Gardens Florida with husband and son. Son Nate lives in Kennebunk, Maine with wife. Joan has a 'bakery' on the garden level of the cottage where she makes scones every morning.
