Our charming, sunny, fully furnished pied-a-terre (studio) is located in the heart of Nob Hill, in a 1911 Edwardian building. Grace Cathedral, nearby Huntington Park, as well as the infamous Mark Hopkins and Fairmont Hotels are 1-3 blocks away. It's a walk to Chinatown, the Italian North Beach section,(wonderful restaurants, bakeries) Russian Hill (Lombard's 'Crookedest' street). The Embarcadero (Ferry Building) and Union Square are within walking distance or Cable Car ride. Public transportation is excellent. There are 2 bus lines across the street; the California Cable Car is one block downhill. Clipper Card allows rides on the Muni system, Vintage street cars, and Cable Cars. A parking garage is nearby. The local grocery store is up one block. Trader Joes and Whole Foods grocery store nearby. There are restaurants, cafes, sports bars,, and shopping along California, Hyde and Polk streets.
Upon entering the building, you will notice a birdcage elevator. Our nicely appointed home (studio) provides comfort with a loveseat (sofa) and wing-back chair. There is a new, queen-size bed. New double pane Bay windows. The dining area looks out from our new Bay windows. Our kitchen is fully complemented. Our bathroom has a clawfoot tub/shower. All rooms have been remodeled. A vintage fireplace mantle graces the living area. Enjoy the 360 degree panoramic views, including the Golden Gate Bridge on the common rooftop deck. A BBQ is available for use.
This pied-a-terre is our home when we are in San Francisco. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Our Nob Hill studio is close to everything whether walking or using transit. Our weather here seems to get more
sun shine than other areas in The City.
Our Nob Hill studio is comfortable, sunny, cozy with home furnishings. Not just a bed and t.v.
