Paradise Costa Rica is ready for your vacation in a Tropical Wonderland! We are located on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, just south of Dominical in the beautiful Escaleras Mountain range at an elevation of 1200 feet overlooking the Ocean. Imagine waking up to sounds of the rainforest... our streams and gentle waterfalls, the calls of howler monkeys, the songs of toucans and many other tropical birds just outside of your window.

Our property has lap-sized, chlorine-free swimming pools and is set in three and a half private acres of tropical splendor! Many assorted tropical fruits are cultivated on the property, and available fresh-for-the-picking in season. We have an onsite English/Spanish speaking manager (who is also a masseuse!) available to facilitate your needs, and to provide massage services for our guests.

With 3000+ square feet of living space on two levels, Villa Mango offers large wrap-around covered terraces, queen-size Swiss orthopedic beds in each room (can be separated to singles.) Designed for six people, but comfortably accommodating eight, Villa Mango may be rented together with Casa Amigos to host up to 14 guests.

Paradise Costa Rica is located about 50 km. (30 miles) South of Quepos, seven km. (five miles) South from Dominical on the beautiful Southern-Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica -- 175 km (110 miles) Southwest of San Jose (Costa Rica's capital city, near the International Airport.)

The Dominical area has a average temperature of 83F (28C) and is delightful year round. There is a 'dry' season from November through April. During the rest of the year, the mornings are usually sunny but it may rain in the afternoon. While Costa Rica is a tropical wonderland all year, many nature lovers find the lush 'green' season especially beautiful. Thanks to our mountain-side 1200 feet elevation, guests at Villa Mango and Casa Amigos enjoy year-round comfortable mountain breezes.

Dominical is a small coastal village (population approximately 600). People are easy-going, and the relaxed atmosphere is contagious! There are various cozy bars and a surprising variety of casual restaurants and 'sodas' (local food). Later in the night, some of these restaurants change into small-scale discoteques, where 'Ticos' (native Cosa Ricans) and vacationers dance to Latin music.

In the past few years, a number of wonderful restaurants have opened in our area, including Thai, Italian, Continental, Indonesian, Mexican and French... all in beautiful tropical settings. Shops in the area include a gift store, clothes boutique, small grocery store, fruit stands, and a bakery. Dominical and many beautiful, secluded beaches are just a quick drive 'down the mountain' from Villa Mango and Casa Amigos.

Paradise Costa Rica is ideally situated... you may just want to relax on our large panoramic ocean-view balconies, swim in our 48 foot lap pool, or take advantage of the many activities our area has to offer!

We found this amazing spot while on vacation, and could not get its beauty out of our minds. In an uncharacteristic move, we purchased the lot, then designed, built and landscaped two villas on the property. It just so happened that Villa Mango is right next to a pathway for howler monkeys in the rainforest, and a nest of a family of toucans, so we are treated with a live Nature Channel show right off the balcony!

Thanks to our friendly and professional staff, we are delighted to be able to share the magic of our little piece of 'Paradise' with friends and guests.

My wife and i recently spent several nights at Casa Amigos in the Escaleras area between Dominical and Uvita. The villa was very well kept and well manaintained by Hector who llives on site. The Gardens are incredible, the best I have seen in the area. The large ocean view terrace is great for morning coffee and bird/monkey watching.There also are many tours to do in the area. I would highly recommend this rental villa and plan to return again soon.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

We had a great time in this very well-kept property. There are two villas, located side by side, so if you have a larger group, you can rent both villas. We were very happy to see this well maintained property upon our arrival. We had a short, but enjoyable stay. The furnishings are very nice and you can tell they were personally chosen by the owners. There were lots of DVD's to watch and nice music to listen to....we hope we can return soon.

We arrived at the villa using the excellent directions of the owner. The exterior and interior were very well maintained and we were pleased to see how lovely the furnishings were, also well maintained. Our stay was extremely pleasant and we were sad to have to leave after our brief, but enjoyable stay. The grounds were lovely, we saw lots of wildlife. This is a perfect rental for a family. If you have a larger group, you will be happy to know there is an additional villa, next door that is owned by the same family, also for rent. I thought the rental price, was more than reasonable.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
