Great Owners!

Great Get-Away Chicago, IL
Review Submitted: March 25, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
This past weekend, March 20th- 22nd, we rented this beautiful house for our annual "Girls Weekend" in Lake Geneva. Every one of the 13 ladies loved the house and especially the owners! Carrie was great to work with and her parents are absolutely lovely! They were so accommodating and one of the girls, Sam, just couldn't get over how nice Carrie's father was! The location is GREAT! Very close to downtown- we all headed there sporadically for our spa day on Saturday. The bedrooms are well furnished, clean, and very comfortable. The dinning room was large enough to accommodate all of us for a great dinner on Friday night and Sunday brunch. The outdoor patios made the weekend- with a lot of chairs and tables.
This is a don't miss! Enjoy.

Beautiful house, very well maintained. We went to Lake Geneva in the winter with no real outdoor activities planned and the house was fantastic for us. Close to downtown and really big, there were 10 of us and we didn't even use all the space. Highly recommended!

Our family - 12 of us! just spent a glorious week at the Lake Geneva Guest House over the Christmas holiday. What a wonderful place: with a great working kitchen, a state park down the hill, a super fun rec room, and downtown just minutes away, we felt like we hit the jackpot! We would definitely recommend and hope to come back again soon!

We spent in this house a wonderful week in early July. It was a family reunion (nine people aged 3 to 67 plus two visitors). The house has large rooms and beds, 3 bathrooms, a big kitchen with all the equipment you could wish, and all kinds of activities: basketball, ping-pong, pool, and Internet!

13 of us stayed at the house on the weekend of June 23. We had a great time. The house is amazing with plenty to do. We spent a significant amount of time playing basketball, baggo, pool, darts and grilling. The pictures don't do the place justice...it is a great spot to hold an event.

16 of us spent the weekend of 5/19/2006 at the Guest House celebrating a 75th birthday for our father/grandfather. The accomodations were wonderful. Plenty of room for all; lots of towels, bedding-everything we needed. The house was very clean and organized-the pictures on the internet don't do it justice.

The house was great - there were 10 of us, and we fit very comfortably. Everything about the house was wonderful, and the small problem that we encountered was fixed almost immediately. We would definitely recommend the house to anybody looking for a weekend getaway.

The house is great! Very comfortable, even for 14 of us. Came directly from Ski Trip at Grand Geneva - 3 full bathrooms were very nice to have with a large group. The kitchen and dining area are large and very open, but we spent most of our time downstairs in the game room. had a great time, would definitely stay here again!

There were 10 of us in this vacation home over the
new years, we all enjoyed it. The house is well kept,
clean and provides everything you need for a fun
comfortable stay. The game room was a nice
luxury to have. We all plan to come back over the
summer.

We stayed at the house for a week in August with our teenaged son, our daughter and son-in-law, and our 8 month old grandchild. We all had a great time. The house is comfortably furnished, including a computer with internet access so we could all check our email. The air conditioning kept the house comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the upstairs deck, where we could sit and read while catching glimpses of the lake. And the location is very convenient: steps from the lakeshore walk (we loved the close up views of all the houses), a short walk to boat rentals, and a short drive into town to shop and to pick up an early morning latte and newspaper. We definitely plan to stay there again.
