Lovely log Cabin Vacation

The memories of our week at the log cabin will stay with me for many years- morning coffee by the lake, beautiful sunsets, fishing, lovely walks around the area, windsurfing and 7 wonderful days away from city life. Seven of us stayed comfortably in the cottage, 3 teenagers, the grandparents and us. The cottage worked very well meeting all of our needs; the kitchen had everything you could ask for, chairs at the beach and on the deck, even the towels and sheets were all nicely folded upon our arrival. We ventured off to Traverse City, Sutton's Bay and the Sand Dunes, all of which were quite close to the cottage. It was truly a vacation to remember.

What a spectacular place!! Pictures don't even come close to showing it's beauty. Beautiful, private cabin, right on a peaceful lake. Listen to the frogs and the breezes at night. Everything, and I mean everything, is provided for a wonderful time. Beautifully decorated and close to everything. A week was not enough...the campfire S'mores were so good. The owners made themselves available to make sure we had a great time. Perfect place for a vacation.

This cabin is absolutely perfect and depicts Northern Michigan perfectly. It is tucked into the woods with a sunny sandy beach area, and Silver Lake is beautiful. The cabin itself is so quaint, clean, and filled with amenities. We enjoyed being so close to both Interlochen and Traverse City. Perfect!

This log cabin is better than the pictures. You feel at home while you are there. Kurt and Emily have done a wonderful job of making sure that everything that you need is all ready there, just bring your clothes (plenty of room to unpack). To stock the cupboards and fridge you have just a short drive to Meijer or Glen's. Thank you Kurt and Emily. We hope to stay at your cabin again.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Spent alot of time on the boat, lake was great for swimming and fishing. Nightly campfires were a highlight of our vacation. The cabin has everything you could ask for and more!!! Perfect location-we will be back!

It's a lovely home. We enjoyed the quiet cove, while making s'mores around the campfire. We hope we can go back again. The owners are great people, and really do their best to accommodate their guests.

Great "Cabin" and a great Lake.
The campfire and play area were well
used. Kids had a wonderful time fishing off the dock, just a great time had by all.(pictures don't do this place justice)

To everyone looking for a beautiful cabin to rent, you have come to the right place. My family and I spent a great week enjoying the cabin and lake. There is great fishing right from the dock (a 15" bass was caught). The lake is great for boating and swimming. There are sandbars and islands all around. You won't be sorry if you rent this cabin. We plan on coming back again next year!
