Great Fall Retreat

My parents, my husband and I, and one other friend enjoyed a long October weekend at this north Georgia property. Even though the drought had left the lake very low, we enjoyed our stay. I would have preferred to just hang out at the house more, but we went along with the parents and ate out every meal, shopped at an apple orchard (which, though very crowded, was actually fun) and did the antiquing thing. I would like to go back with friends who are looking for a retreat from the hectic life, and just relax for a weekend. The house is fully equipped with everything one could possibly need. The owners were very easy to work with and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I would not recommend maxing out the sleeping space with seven people unless the weather is great and you can spend most of your time spread out on the deck.

Great get-away

My husband and I were extremely impressed with the charm of this cabin. It's perfect for a real get-away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our 3 night stay was not long enough. The cabin has everything you need. Just bring the food and feel like home! There was plenty of fire wood and a huge fireplace to burn it in. We will certainly go there again. We loved it!!!!

What a wonderful place to stay. We could not have asked for a nicer place. The owners provided everything we could possible have wanted and then some. It was such a nice place to come back to after working all day. Everything was perfect and the owners were so easy to work with and really went out to see that all our needs were meet. All you had to do was pack your bags and show up. Had a wonderful time and looking forward to returning in 2008!!!

Our Bible study group stayed at your beautiful home the 1st weekend in November/07 and we all thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and the surrounding area. If it were not for our Bible study leader Suzy Moore we would not have know that this place existed. In the near future, I will be planning a mini vacation with my husband and daughter to 3 Bear Ridge.
Owner's Response: We always love having Suzy and her friends stay at our cabin! They always leave the cabin neat and clean! It is a wonderful place for a Bible study group to stay - peaceful, comfortable and surrounded by God's beautiful creations!

I just got back from my vacation in Hiawassee and my stay at 3 Bear Ridge was delightful. Everything was perfect, the weather was even cold enough to have a fire in the fireplace. The cabin had all the eminities promised and more. The only thing I would liked to have been different was the scenery outside on the deck. I wish I could have seen the mountains.
I will consider this cabin again next year.

You and your family will have to come back in the winter when all the leaves are off the trees to see the mountain from our deck. As promised in our ad, you feel like you are in a tree house in the summer, and have a view of Harris mountain in the winter. Maybe with a little luck you could even see some snow!! We loved everything from the time we arrived to the moment we left. We felt at home in the comfort of the cabin. Everything was their that you would need for a wonderful week in the mountains. We enjoyed being able to sit on the deck and feel we were in our very own tree house. Every detail was given us for a wonderful relaxing week. We will be back and we will stay again. We just did not want to leave we just wanted to stay,and stay, and stay.

We stayed at the cabin october 9-13, 2006. Our stay was fantastic! The cabin is absolutely lovely, well decorated, extremely homey and comfortable. It is in a nice, quiet area, close to town and recreational activities. The perfect spot for a relaxing getaway! The owners are very pleasant and easy to deal with. We hope to be able to return again soon!
