We had a wonderful time at this superb house looking
over Breckenridge. The views are fantastic and the
rooms well decorated. Our grown children and their
own families are planning on staying at this house on
their next visit to Colorado.

The Double Diamond House exceeded our expectations: convenient location, amazing views, comfortable appointments and a nicely equipped kitchen (everyhting we hoped to find in the kitchen was there- even a large pot for king crab legs!) This was a great place to relax with friends; I would definitely recommend it!

I spend most of my life flying people all over the world and have rented & stayed at many properties in my travels but have no hesitation in saying this has been the best to date.
It really is an insult to class it as a rental as it is far more than that, I would class it more as borrowing someone’s home.
The property has everything you could want right down to the binoculars to fully utilise the magnificent views.
It was the views that first drew us to this property and they did not disappoint. The rooms are all very well equipped.
Sometimes renting through realty agents can be difficult but here you rent direct with the owner, who could not have been more helpful, one of life’s truly lovely people.
I am recommending this property to all my friends & work colleagues.
Top tip - don’t forget to use the humidifiers provided (Breckenridge being 9,000 ft has a very dry atmosphere) we only found them on our last day !

We visited the Double Diamond House twice in the summer of 2008. The first visit was in June and we were treated with snowfall which made the views even more spectacular! The second trip was the end of July and we still were treated to mountains with snow caps. We have stayed in over 7 different houses/condos in the past 10 years in the Breckenridge area and by far, the Double Diamond has the best views and location to town. It really feels like home away from home, with careful thought to details and comfort. It is a remarkable value for the quality of home! Buff was very friendly, courteous, and accomodating. The Toulon Family provides a great retreat and I'm thankful they are willing to share it with us flatlanders!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Double Diamond House. The views were great and easily viewed from the recliners between living and dining rooms. The location is very handy to town. All dealings with the owners were pleasant and effecient. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful place, on the quieter and beautiful east
side of town. "Million dollar views" of the ski
slopes, well-stocked house, clear directions all over
the house to guide you. A rainy day was well spent
with plenty of games, books, movies and high-
speed internet (for our laptop). Sunny days spent
even better exploring the mountains where a
lifetime couldn't exhaust the options.

Not the closest home to the slopes - which is
exactly what I wanted, as I was looking more for a
retreat than the "ski all day, party all night" side of
town. A quarter mile walk to the "Upper Flume"
trail, which connects to miles and miles of walking,
running, biking trails. A few more minutes to the
endless National Forest trails branching off Gold
Run Rd at the top of the (long, steep) hill. And a 15
minute drive to some of the Rockies most scenic /
famous hikes, or just take the lift up a
mountainside.

Best of all, the owner was a pleasure to work with.
A real person, not just a faceless property
management firm. She explained the layout, and
pointed us to young family activities and
restaurants in town. Less an "investment property",
and more like staying at a lent home of a friend.
Guests have responded in kind, and seem to leave
it better than they found it.

This home was absolutely wonderful and all of the interactions with the owner very positive. The location was wonderful - close to town, yet far enough away to feel a sense of solitude and tranquility. The kitchen was very well supplied - plenty of equipment to cook gourmet meals. The furniture was very nice and extremely comfortable. And most importantly to us, the views were magnificent. We look forward to returning.

Wow, what a place! We couldn't have been happier with the Double Diamond Home during our recent stay. Every creature comfort was well-thought out and planned for. Rooms were roomy, comfortable and each had a breathtaking view. We were a party of six and there were times that we couldn't find each other (kids had fun with that)in the house because of the several levels and multiple rooms. My three kids spent alot of times just sitting at the bottom of the stairs playing with their Pokemon cards. It was pleasant to hear them enjoy themselves like they do at home while we enjoyed some adult time in the family room. Again, we couldn't have been happier and could go on forever with our comments. I was lucky enough to just happen upon this listing while surfing the net and Buff was great to work with. Accomodations for six people would have taken at least 2 hotel rooms and the price for the week was less than we would have paid at a hotel. The house is conveniently located to the Breckenridge slopes and our drive home was less than five minutes each day. Highly recommended and looking forward to another visit. Thanks Buff.

We loved our stay in your home out at Breckenridge. The home was luxurious, yet very comfortable and made us feel right at home. We had a very nice time. The morning we left,(Aug 26th) there was a fresh powdering of snow on the peaks across town. We had a great time. The home had everything we needed and we really enjoyed it. Thanks so much!!
