Perfect family house! Great location!

We had three families and it was so nice that all of the adults had comfortable king size beds and each had their own bathroom. The kids loved their own room on the 3rd floor with a balcony. There was a safety latch at the top of the door that I was glad to see. Every room had a tv and a stereo. Wifi is a nice bonus.
The kitchen has everything you need! Even spices! We only ate out one night. There is a great gas grill! It was so nice to have a full size washer and dryer! Loved the rockers on the large porches!
It is a short 1 block walk to the beach. Minutes to Walmart, Publix, Walgreens, restaurants, and 5 minutes to the Harborwalk.
It was a little cool so we only used the pool once, but its perfect for a quick dip. Its so nice to have an outdoor shower with hot water to rinse off after a day in the sand. There is a whole box of beach toys, so don't bother packing a bunch. They also provide a beach cart that makes it easy take everything you need to the beach. There is plenty of loungers and seating around the pool.
I really appreciate that they welcome pets! They love vacation too! The yard was plenty big enough for our dogs. The beaches are not pet friendly, but I knew that before we came and my dogs could care less about the sand or water. There is a new dog park right past the Walmart. Only problem was that the pickets on the gates were too far apart and the dogs could slip out. A trip to Home Depot to purchase temporary fencing and zip ties fixed that.
Stacey was so easy to work with and willing to do whatever it took to make our visit comfortable.

Wouldn't change a thing about our stay in Destin Dreaming! The house had everything we needed. Nicely decorated, gave you a home feel, very comfortable. Loved the wrap around porch with the rocking chairs. Close to everything.
We had 2 Families together for our 2 High School Seniors spring break.
Rest of the kid’s ages ranged from 15 to 23 with a total of 9 people during our stay.
The house was more than enough to accommodate us.
Our activities included, parasailing, afternoon pontoon rental, days at the beach, outlet shopping (on our 1 rainy day) and more! Prepared breakfast & lunch at the house in the very nice kitchen with a lot of kitchen staples, and 2 days using their grill for dinner. Other days, ate dinner out at the large variety of restaurants close by.
Didn't really need to call Stacy during our stay because we had everything we needed -although they let us know we could contact them anytime.
Will definitely try to do this trip again!!

We had an excellent time!! The house was SOOOO comfortable and had MORE than enough kitchen supplies (plates, pots, pans, glasses, etc), seasonings, spices, etc. The rooms, bathrooms were WELL equiped with towels, blankets, sheets, pillows, etc. It was like being at home. The porch made for a great place to have our morning coffee. The wrap around porch made it easy to find the PERFECT SPOT!! With the amount of people that this house accommodates, there is ample space to be ALONE!! I would recommend this house if you are looking for the comforts of home with the amenities of vacationing!!! The beach is within walking distance (which is nice if you dont like SAND everywhere!) Shopping is minutes away. Stacy is really accommodating also. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.

Loved loved loved this house! It was large enough to accommodate 8 adults and 2 children and one dog! Stacey was so helpful and thoughtful. I had never visited Destin and was unaware at how many different 'neighborhoods' there were. This house is in the Crystal Beach location and is near all the great shops and restaurants. We loved this house! The pool is the perfect size and the wrap around porches were perfect! I even forgot my son's crocs and she mailed them to me! What a great vacation home!

My husband and I just spent a week at Destin Dreaming. The house was great. We brought our dog who absolutely loved the yard. Since everything is fenced in, we didn't have to worry about where he was. The house has plenty of room and was and very clean. Just about everything was provided for you, ie. paper products and spices. The beach was beautiful and had some nice restaurants as well. Had a very relaxing time and can't wait until next year.

Stacey was very easy to work with and accomodating. The house was very clean. The location was very convenient - close to all kinds of restaurants, shopping, retail, and anything you could want. Location relative to the beach was very close - easy walking distance - could not have been more perfect. The house was HUGE with lots of living space. We loved the landscaping and relaxing on the large wrap around porches. House was well equipped. Exceptional value - what you get - everything - for what you pay - very reasonable. My family could not have been more happy - would not have changed a thing.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We just returned home from a wonderful week at Destin Dreaming. The house is pet friendly, which was a must for us, but the beach is not. That was a bummer. The good news is there is nothing that you could possibly want for that is not provided at this house. There are tons of spices, flour, coffee, creamer, dishes, towels, everything. Each morning we enjoyed our cofffee and toast out on the covered porch in the rockers. There is plenty of seating both inside and out. You are just a short 1-2 block walk to the beach. The house is super close to several Walmarts and Publix stores for groceries as well as every other type of shopping you could want. Two very nice Antique stores off South Holiday Road. We would definitely rent this house again. Tracey goes above and beyond for her guests! We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay.

We just spent four great days at the house, which was everything and more than we had expected. The imformation on the website was completely accurate and the place is extremely clean and well taken care of. The location works well and the fenced yard was ideal for our poodles. We were disappointed only in the fact that the entire area doesn't allow pets on the beach. We travel with our dogs and have visited beaches east and west and have always done our part and more to clean up the beaches. It's too bad that some people, who don't, caused the area to prohibit pets on beaches. Back to the home, it has everything needed to have a great time and Stacy was very helpful. We would highly recommend this VRBO # to all our friends and acquaintances. The weather was cooler than expected but we enjoyed the rockers on the porches and the great pool area for eating lunches under the sun. The only thing limiting our return is the prohibition of pets on the beaches.
