A great time was had by all. Being English I immediately felt right at home (apart from the hot tub, of course, which was pure luxury). For my Italian friends it was a real glimpse of America. Hope their driving didn't upset too many locals, especially when we parked in front of a fire hydrant downtown (no, we don't have those in the homeland). The house was perfect for a group and gave us lots of space to relax and enjoy our stay. We'll be back if the sheriff doesn't put up any "wanted" posters and thanks again Norman.

Great value in a ski house

We had a very nice stay in this property last Christmas holiday. It is close to Little Cottonwood Canyon as well as grocery stores and restaurants. The decor was dated but the unit was clean and well-equipped, and the beds were comfortable. The property manager was very responsive to some minor requests-- for example, the unit needed more glassware. This is an excellent house for families with children or single skiers as there are plenty of single beds. It was also nice to be able to pull our cars into the garage. It would be nice if the owner were to add a larger TV to the unit. Overall, it was a great value and perfect for our needs.
Owner's Response: We like the feed back we get from our renters. We will put a larger T.V. in the house and will look to upgrade the decor. We should have done this before. The first time people book with us we are lucky. Our aim is to get you to come again. When you come back it is special for us. We had many repeat customers for the past ski season inspite of the economy. Thank you all for booking with us. If you have not stayed with us we would like to encourage you to come and see if we can establish a relationship where you come back again. That is our measure of success.

We had 11 people stay at the Tramview, all adults. Everyone enjoyed the facility. It was very clean and served us well. We walked to the bus stop with our skis and rode the bus to Alta every day. It was very convenient for all. There was plenty of room for people to spread out and relax. No one felt crowded. The hot tub was great and got a lot of use! Norman and Bert(caretaker) were very helpful in planning our vacation and assisting us while we were there. The Super Pass, ski rental discount, and car rental were great deals.

Tramview is a spacious home with 5 bedrooms. Plenty of bedding for large groups. The home is an older home, but yet still quite adequate for large groups. My only wish is that it had a 3rd full bath room. Norman was great to speak with. Bert, the maintenance guy was there if you needed him. Per our request, the home now has wireless DSL set up. So bring your laptops with your 802.11 B or G wireless LAN cards. You'll be able to watch the weather and snow conditions from NOAA or from Intellicast. You'll be glad you did. My group enjoyed having internet access.
if you have any questions or would like a personal reference about the house, feel free to email me. Don't forget to remove the 'REMOVE_THIS' from my email address.

The Tramview was perfect for my group of 13! It is well maintained and fully stocked. Bert, the caretaker, was very accomodating with lift tickets and extra air matresses- we will most definitley come again!
Owner's Response: One of the rewards we get from this business is the interaction with such nice people and it is a bonus when they tell us they enjoyed their vacation and that the house worked out well for them. It makes it all worth while.
Thank you,
Norman Jack

We had a big group of skiers and boarders - 17 people. Norman was great in providing us all the help we needed, from additional beds to discount lift tickets. The house is very spacious, clean and the hot tub was perfect for apres ski evenings. The location is perfect, right at the base of the canyons. Will definitely come back next year.

Nine of us stayed at Tramview and had a very comfortable stay. We used the ski bus for transportation and the house is very convenient to the stops, shopping and restaurants, but far enough off the main roadd to be very quiet. Everything about the house was as advertised and the skiing was unbeatable.

The place is spacious, accomodates a lot of people easily and has a nice sized hot tub. It's conveniently located to ski rentals/discount lift tickets, grocery shopping (and liquor store....), and in my humble opinion possibly the two best canyons for skiing in North America. It's a good location and Norman is very helpful and pleasant to work with.

Time: from December 24 to Dec 29 2004
People: 12 adults and kids
House: we enjoyed staying in the house, it's big and well maintained; hot tub (and glass of Merlot) was very helpful.
It's stratigically positioned at the entrance of two canyons, trip to Snowbird/Alta is about 20 minutes, Solitude/Brighton is a bit longer.
Park City? You dont want to go there. Airport is 40 minutes away. Food & ski rental is around a corner.
Price: Reasonable.
Skiing: Excellent, I personally have greatly improved my powder skiing technique, not to mention it's been so much fun.
Host: Norman is a terrific guy who is willing to do about anything to please his guests. I hope to get back to his house some other time.

This house was an excellent base for our large group of skiers and snowboarders. It is well furnished and well maintained. The hot tub, fireplace, kitchen, TV and VCR were all enjoyed and worked as expected. The proximity to the slopes, whether driving or using the bus system (we did both) was great. It's a great rental value and we hope to return in future years.
