Flamingo Point USVI is one of the largest homes available for you on Water Island. A private waterfront home perched on the edge of a 50' bluff over-looking the Caribbean and St Thomas; 'split' floor plan incl. Great Room (living, kitchen, and dining). Our home is spacious with 4 private bedrooms - 3 with direct access to a wide, covered wrap-around porch. This is one unique aspect of our home. No futons, sleeper sofas or air mattresses. Everyone has their own private retreat they can close off from the main active areas to relax, power nap or sleep the night away. The view is spectacular. Visit our webcam. Enter flamingopointusvi.viewnetcam.com and type 'Flamingo' for User Name and 'pointusvi' for the password. Click on the tab titled 'Single' and choose from the preset options on the left hand side of the screen! There is no drive by traffic & the house can not be seen from the road. The front of the house opens onto a large uncovered deck. Another unique feature of our property is the huge grassy area and private parking with large area to turn-around. Whole house UV and charcoal water filtration system supplies the entire home with Mother Nature's sparkling clean, great tasting water. The kitchen is well stocked with everything guests need to cook including professional knives, All-Clad pots & pans, soufflé, electric ice cream maker, blender, coffee grinder, etc. Ben & Jerry ice cream recipe and other cookbooks in the upper, right-most cabinet in the kitchen on the north side. We enjoy cooking so guests will find the kitchen is well stocked with everything they'll need including a 5 burner stainless steel grill. In addition to the 28 cu ft refrigerator/freezer that has a special drawer for canned beverages which ensures optimum temperature, we also have a chest freezer in the kitchen.

Our home has a 'split' plan layout with 2 bedrooms/1 bath on the south side of the home, 2 bedrooms/1 bath on the north side of the home, and the Great Room in-between. We have a 55' LED HDTV with over 200 channels available from DISH Network satellite, new Blue Ray HD Disc Player with Wifi access to your Netflix or other online applications, library of over 50 DVD movies (of course guests can bring their favorite DVDs!), WiFi internet access, and Wii with the 'Sports Package' with bowling, tennis, golf, and boxing. Extremely comfortable porch furniture for relaxing coffee-on-the-porch sunrise and boat watching and Caribbean sunset viewing.

We work very hard to maintain and improve our home to ensure that it's comfortable for us, our family, friends and guests. Our home is wheelchair accessible. For those who want to become one with nature (or are just returning to the beach and want to wash the salty sea or sand away), our home offers an outdoor shower. We also have a foot shower next to the coconut palm tree just off the front porch.

Transportation on Water Island: We do also make available if a guest choose the 'Flamingo Warrior' which is a 4x4, crew cab truck with safari in the back. The vehicle is available to registered guests who are licensed and insured drivers 26 years of age or older. There's no additional charge for the truck which will serve as transportation on Water Island only. There is a charge for any gas consumed. Our property manager, a full time resident on Water Island, tops off the tank prior to arrival and once the guests depart, tops off the tank again. In this way we determine how much gas was consumed during the stay and we passthru those costs to the guest. On average, guests staying for a week use 7 gallons of gas. Our Property Manager’s costs have been coming in around $6/gallon. So, average cost of gas for a one week stay has been $42.00.

Flamingo Point USVI has a large teak dining table indoors as well as large table on the porch for dining al fresco while watching the sunset. King Size beds and 60' blade super quiet ceiling fans in all bedrooms. You'll find 2 beach chairs, 1 beach umbrella and 2 beach towels in every bedroom closet with plenty of room for your clothes and shoes. Ample porch chairs with cushions and a gas grill on the porch. All your favorite board games including the large Domino Train set in the kitchen cabinet above the chest freezer. In the great room you'll find a portable music player that supports MP3, Ipod, Iphone, and CDs. Rates include a one-time bed and bath linens and amenities (toilet paper, paper towel, full size bath soap and hand soap) setup. We have 400 thread count sheets for all our King size beds. Coolers (hard or soft sided) are all available for our guests to take to the beach, grocery shopping or boating. Activities: All on Water Island! Honeymoon beach within walking distance from Flamingo Point. Fort Segarro is great for exploring. The smallest of the four USVI islands at just 491.5 acres - you can hike the whole island if you want! Heidi Honeymoon Grill offers lunch 11-3 every day on Honeymoon Beach and gourmet dinner on the beach Saturday night. You can also engage Heidi to cater a private dinner at Flamingo Point! Monday Night at the Movies where Heidi Honeymoon Grill presents a current movie and offers hot dogs, popcorn, candy and drinks. Bingo or Wii Bowling at the pavilion on Honeymoon Beach on Wednesday nights. Joe's Beach Bar serves frosty drinks, hot dogs, and small appetizers. Pirates Ridge Deli & Store has All-U-Can-Eat Pizza on Friday night and a fully stocked bar on the patio.
