Review Submitted: March 23, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
We really enjoyed our time at the house. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We loved the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Major plus for us!!
One thing, the ice maker is soooo loud at night!!!
Owner's Response: Appreciate the nice review - replacing noisy ice maker!

This rental home is truly beautiful. Wild Dunes is a great spot and one of the most beautiful beach destinations that we've been to within the country.

The Spectacular Oasis

DDT Cumming, GA, USA
Review Submitted: July 13, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We had another fabulous vacation at The Oasis! This is our second year in a row satying at this luxurious home. The owners have thought of everything! We have visited Wild Dunes for about 8-9 years now, and this by far is the best home we have stayed in. Loved the pool and the master suite!! Kitchen also has anything and everything you could ever dream about! We usually never eat in, but did so twice due to the kitchen and outside grill. This home has plenty of room. Everything was top notch! The golf cart is just another bonus. I don't think I could vacation without one from now on! Wild Dunes has a ton of activities as well! We beached it, golfed, parasailed, ran, jet skiied, tennis, etc. You will not be bored!

Even Better the Second Time!

luer Spartanburg, SC, USA
Review Submitted: June 9, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
Wonderful week!We played in all available bodies of water-ocean,pool, and your great walk in shower in the master bedroom! We scouted out the island on bikes, jogs, and in that heaven sent golf cart taxi!We took full advantage of your terrific kitchen-Belgian waffles for breakfast(my grandson's fav),South Carolina tomato and ham sandwiches for lunch, and each of my now grown kids took a night and prepared a meal that included their specialty. We even churned a batch of Oreo ice cream and made a cake for my son's 30thb'day!Yes, we did relax and eat and relax and play games and did i say, we relaxed? My 15mo.grandson had a blast at the beach-fearless! For some reason the pool was scarier than the waves..guess it had to do with feet on solid ground! The owner has been terrific, easy to work with, and handled any little hiccups personally and quickly.Best compliment is that my husband truly relaxed and my children wanted it to last longer. Those accomodations, plus great Charleston seafood and shopping, and the best family God put together and you have a recipe for a successful vacation!

Great house, nicely decorated and fairly close to resort amenities. Thank you for the use of the golf cart and bikes to get around.
The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need. I can't tell you how much we appreciated that.
We also loved having all the local tips and advice you left in the house for us inc details, menus and descriptions for restaurants.
Thank you for an awesome vacation experience!

Outstanding Visit

Friends from Virginia Richmond, VA
Review Submitted: May 10, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
Our visit to Oasis was delightful. We had a wonderful time our first year and this was even better. The house is beautiful inside and out and the amenities are plentiful. The kitchen is fully equipped. Six couples live very comfortably for an entire week.

We used the decks every day, and the golf cart is a great addition. Someone would use it every day to run an errand or just ride and sightsee around the grounds and the marina. We also used the bikes for rides to the ocean, pro shop, or just for exercise.

Our dealings with the owners were outstanding. My friends and I recommend it enthusiastically and without any reservation.

Reunions-R-Us

Poobah Shreveport, LA
Review Submitted: April 29, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
The Oasis was a perfect place for a reunion of 6 high school friends and our wives. We hadn't been together in 43 years! We were thrilled to find a resort-like location and a home that had 6 bedrooms and 6 baths--perfect for our needs. The spacious living area and porches made it possible for us to spend the maximum time together, and the private bedrooms provided the needed privacy. Having hair-dryers in every bath was a special touch, along with satellite TVs, although we were having too much fun in perfect weather to want to use them. Thanks for the firm matresses, too. The tips and recommendations were great, and we used many of them.

The golf courses, the beach, restaurants, and shopping within easy reach allowed us to be flexible. Walking and biking fit into our routines. Charleston made for a delightful trip back into history, as we took both the mule-drawn carriage trip and the boat trip to Ft. Sumter.

The Oasis is SO equipped to make anyone's stay easy and fun. The kitchen is marvelously laid out, and with the ice machine, wine cooler, and large fridge, we toasted our good fortune well and often! And the outdoor gas grill was perfect for us, as we brought Wisconsin brats down to add to our pleasure.

ALL of us had a grand time, and we will more than likely come back again in several years. We would recommend the Oasis to anyone and everyone! Thanks, Tom!

Family Reunion

Shoney SC
Review Submitted: April 23, 2009 Date of Stay: April 2009
Our family loved the house. It was beautifully kept and ready for our arrival. Everyone was comfortable with their own bed and bath. There were roomy gathering spaces inside and out. There were a variety of entertainment options in the house. All the geeks stayed connected at all times which kept them happy. We also enjoyed the biking, running trails within Wild Dunes. The flat wide beach was perfect for running. The kitchen was well equipped and met our cooking needs. We brought a baby gate and it came in handy to block the stairs from our 18 month old explorer.

Near the Beach

mgflorez Cincinnati, OH
Review Submitted: March 27, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
Everything for our trip was as easy as possible. Contract, check-in, maps, etc., all went without a hitch. The house is set up perfectly for our family. Six bedrooms with six attached bathrooms made everyone happy. The large kitchen, dining room table and family room was perfect for cooking, eating and lounging around.

With the pool and the easy access to the beach, we started talking about another family reunion on the beach.
