My (then) 2-year old son and I stayed at the Lazy Gecko in May 2011. It was our first time in Anna Maria and I couldn't have imagined a better experience. The LG is spotless, quiet and fully-equipped with anything we could have needed. The pool was beautiful, the location to the beach was short and convenient and the tiny geckos everywhere are adorable! Brigitte's son and mine are the same age so we hit the jackpot in terms of the occasional playdate and getting to borrow all the beach toys to play with. I highly recommend the property.

We spent 1 week at The Lazy Gecko and enjoyed it very much.With in 2 blocks of beautiful white sandy beach.The duplex itself was very comfortable, neighbor very nice.Nice pool and all the ammenities of home.The trolley stops right at the corner of the street.The other thing that I like is they are pet friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone of any age.All you have to do is show up.We will definitely be back.

My family and I spent the Labor Day weekend at the Lazy Gecko and it was perfect! The pool was wonderful as the beach was a little windy due to the tropical storm in the Gulf. Close walk to the beach and trolley pick up. Brigitte was very helpful in recommending some activities for us and was very prompt in responding to any questions. The house is nicely accommodated and there is a Publix nearby. Loved the location, easy to find, look forward to future vacations at the Lazy Gecko! Thanks again, Brigitte :)

Have just returned to the cold NE after spending a delightful month at The Lazy Gecko. What a wonderful way to relax and enjoy the solitude of AM Island! The beach was a 5' walk and the solar heated pool in the backyard a wonderful way to end the beach day or just relax, read and chat. The place was as described: very neat, open and spacious and fully equiped. There are a variety of restaurants nearby and the island is a wonderful place to bike, kyak and walk. Brigitte is a wonderful host and most accomadating. Her son Greyson a total delight. I would definitely return and recommend this place to anyone who wants to "get away from it all"!

More than we Expected!

Loved the Lazy Gecko! The property was very bright and clean and quiet.So nice to have two bedrooms,
each with it's own bathroom and super comfy beds. Loved the pool and private backyard, also. The Lazy Gecko has all the amenities one needs plus the gorgeous white sand beach is only a short walk away.
Especially liked our breakfasts at Ginnie and Jane E's and dinners at the Sand Bar on the beach.
Brigitte and Greyson were great!

Great Place to Relax!!!

The whole experience was easy and enjoyable... from the booking, to the personal reposnses of the owner to my questions, to the house itsef. We enjoyed a restful time with the beautiful beach being so close, the pool in the back yard and the grill provided to have a fun cook out with family members who lived in the area. Bridgett is a very personable and friendly owner and really makes us feel right at home as we shared the other half of her duplex. I would recommend this home and look forward to staying there again in the future.

My husband and I stayed at the Lazy Gecko with my inlaws over Labor Day weekend! It was wonderful! It's a short walk to the beach, very clean and VERY comfortable beds (better than my own at home!). The pool is perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach! Brigitte makes sure you're comfortable and that you have everything you need!

Very clean and comfortable. Cool walk to the beach along White avenue. Salt water pool was so nice, had no idea how much nicer it was than chlorine pool!
