We thoroughly enjoyed our ski weekend getaway at this beautiful home that is so thoughtfully well maintained. The owner, Michael, made sure that the house was warm and lit and the hot tub heated so when we arrived on Friday night, relaxing in the hot tub under the stars was the best way to start off the weekend!

The views and grounds are breathtaking and the house takes full advantage of them with beautiful windows from every room. The house is well supplied with everything you need from kitchen knives, pots and pans, to firewood and plenty of towels for the hot tub. The beds are incredibly comfortable and make sleeping a pure pleasure.

We would happily return and hope to do so for another wonderful weekend!

We spent an excellent weekend in this beautiful home. The house is very welcoming, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The whole family enjoyed the fireplace, the deck, and even fishing at the lake. We hiked, visited Margaretville. We enjoyed the hospitality of the local restaurants as well as home-cooked meals in the very well equipped kitchen. - And we already booked the house again for another long weekend of hiking in the snow in January.

This is a beautiful and pristine property. The house is designed in such a way that all of the rooms have amazing views overlooking the pond and the wooded valley beyond. The layout is both modern and cozy and is very functional and comfortable. Our party consisted of my wife and I, our 3 year old daughter and my 70 something parents. It was important to me to find a house that had comfortable good quality furniture as I knew we would be spending a lot of time in and around the house. It totally surpassed my expectations in that regard. The beds were excellent and the living room and dining room furniture were also very comfortable. The house was extremely clean and all the appliances and equipment were of a high quality, were easy to use and had clear instructions. The owner, Mike, was highly professional and responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I really loved this house. I have rented many different houses in the Catskills over the last decade or so and this was head and shoulders over all the rest. My only disappointment was that the weather was a bit too cold for swimming in the beautiful clean pond. Consequently, I fully plan on returning in the summer.

My family and I have stayed at the Fox Ridge house on two occasions -- Thanksgiving weekend last year and for an entire month this past summer. Honestly, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in the Catskills. The home itself is great -- the furnishings are lovely, the design and layout is great, it's clean and well supplied. We didn't need a thing while we were there. I felt more like I was staying in a friend's home, than a rental.

And the surrounding land and view is absolutely breathtaking. You can see another home way off to the side, but from the vantage point of the deck and backyard, you'd think you were all alone in the mountains. We loved having our very own, private swimming pond (with 2 kayaks and a giant floaty thing). As I mentioned, we were at Fox Ridge for an entire month and we never really felt any reason to leave the property! We spent the whole month swimming in the pond, watching the frogs and other wildlife, sitting in the hot tub, and playing board games (there is a pool table too, but we restricted its use, since we have young children).
