My girlfriend and I chose to rent this property mainly due to the location, but when we stepped inside we realized it was truly perfect. It's better than the pictures could ever tell you. Read a few entries of the visitor log and you'll see what I mean. We're not ones for the golf course resort kind of places. The owner is very nice and the place is filled with all kinds of nice accents. Great feel to it. And the books of waterfalls and great hiking in the area was really handy. We didn't count on having that local info. We'll be back for sure!

Relaxing Getaway

Relaxed in SC Titusville, FL

Do not let the approach shock you. The old shed outside (the first thing you see) gives a sense of "what have I done?" even my kids said so. But do not stop there...look on to the cabin. The cabin was somewhat rustic, but very comfortable, clean, roomy, and well kept. We liked what we saw and enjoyed all the activities there and nearby. You can grocery shop in Pickens, SC for the needs of your stay. You are very much secluded from hustle and bustle and the locals are very friendly. Our last night they entertained us (at invitation request) with stories, poems, and guitar playing/singing at our onsite bonfire. The kids spent every day swimming in the river, playing in the field, hiking in the woods, and riding their bikes around the abundant space of the property. It is close to Table Rock Park, Long Shoals Wayside Park, Caesar's Head, etc. and they all have plenty of hiking and swimming in waterfalls/creeks. The owner and her family were very nice and accomodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the kids. Take your kids here!

we pulled up to view a seemingly small woodshed. turns out that the drive up brings you in at an angle that hides most of the cabin. what we found once we parked was a beautiful and inviting cabin nestled on the bank of a lovely mountain river. we loved eating under the covered deck on the water each nite and the morning coffee sitting on the bank watching the trout feed was always awsome. We can't wait to return with the kids and let them enjoy all the wide open spaces I loved so dearly growing up off of highway 11. this is the perfect spot for reaching all kinds of fun without feeling like your trapped in a hotel. love this place!

The description of this cabin is quite accurate with one exception. This was the most relaxing vacation ever. I've already recommended this property as well as the web site. It is so unique. Truly one of a kind.

This is the perfect get-away locale for a couple or family wanting to escape the hassles of suburbia! When we arrived the owners had made a special point to warming our cabin and lighting a fire in the fire pit outside....where we toasted marshmellows later on! What a wonderful cabin, with all of the essentials.

This cabin is also close to Table Rock State Park with lots of fun things to do, and Twin Falls Waterfalls - a beautiful site. The falls are approximately 15 min. from the cabin and definately worth the drive!!

Highly Recommend!!!!!!
