staying at your farmhouse was perfect, here is some important info for families with infants to teens; enough private areas for each family, solid doors and old construction walls let babies or daddy's rest w/o hearing noise, state of the art washer and dryer, wonderful large farmhouse kitchen untouched except for all the modern amenities including a dishwasher! breakfast and coffee on the porch just off the kitchen and evenings on the front porch rockers, fireplace, cozy, cozy and air hockey and play station 2 if you dare! thanks habib.

Great family reunion

C.V. Albany, NY
Review Submitted: August 18, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We rented this house for a family reunion. It slept 15 comfortably and gave us plenty of room to be all together or split up into smaller groups. Close to hiking and shopping in Woodstock. Saw some deer cross through the yard while sitting on the front porch. The only drawback was that it was a fairly busy road.
Owner's Response: Our house sits on a country road which is quite beautiful to look at .Posted speed limit 20 m.p.h. Because we are in such a beautiful area there are quite a few 2nd homes in the vicinity. When these folks come up the road gets a littlre busy in the day time during weekends.
The nights are still . The sky black and starry . The 3 porches provide an excellent view to enjoy.

The only thing I can say about these people, is that honesty plays a big role in their life. let me tell you a brief story that happen right before we rented the house, I have a little York toy (dog) and I asked Hanna Rabibi's wife if i could break the rules by bring my well training dog to the house with the promise that nobody would know, once this particular dog was well trained, she (Hanna) answers she could not do that because this would not be fare to peoples with allergy and she would not know how to lie once they ask her, now you draw your own conclusion. Oh yeah the house. it's a very conformable home if you are searching for peaceful moments with you family, everything in this house is well kept and woodstock it's a magic little town, you will not be sorry.

The Bearsville Inn is in a wonderful location for hiking and shopping. The house is very charming, spacious, and equipped with all the essential amenities to keep a large group happy. Habib did a wonderful job to make sure we were well taken care of. I look forward to my future stays at the Bearsville Inn. Thank You

We stayed here for my sister's wedding and it was very nice and convenient to the Mountain House. We have 3 children under 3 and the place was perfect for all of us and my mother-in-law and sister as well. The Woodstock area is very near the house... it is a wonderful place to visit.

Great accomodations for our reunion 10-12 June. Clean, comfortable, well-tended. spacious, peaceful and historic. A total of 11 adults and 4 younger children (3 families with children) settled comfortably within the 5 bedrooms and extra living room. Additional common areas inside and on the porches gave us room to socialize and play games. Sufficient attractions both within the house and in the surrounding community to keep all interests alive for our short stay. The house is well stocked with all necessities--all we needed to purchase was food for our cook-out. Don't forget about the AC units (located in the bedroom closets) during the warm summer months! Both Habib and the caretaker next door were cordial and helpful during our stay. A short (2-day) yet memorable stay was had by all.

My extended family very much enjoyed our
stay during Christmas Holiday 2004. The
home was very comfortable and
accomodated adults as well as children with
room to spare. We greatly enjoyed the
fireplace in the main living room and spent
most evenings talking and playing board
games . The children were never bored with
the Air Hockey table, pinball machine, Sony
PS2, and tons of DVDs and board games. A
perfect holiday with Hunter Mt. less than 30
mins away. Habib everything simple and
hassle-free even from across the country.

Well Done Habib!

We booked a weekend for a nice getaway from the hectic life of NYC. It was very nice to work with Habeeb. Everything worked out great. The place is BIG. Living room space easily converts to private bedroom space at night. We had people even wanting to sleep on the futons because they were so comfortable. :)

Will definitely book again in the future. Highly recommended!!!

I would strongly recommend staying at this house. It was just perfect--immaculate and much character. It comfortably accommodated our large family gathering for the weekend. The owners were wonderful to us, and the house is easy to get to and close to the shopping in Woodstock. Great place!
