4 Bedrooms, 2 Full Baths, sleeps up to 8 max (absolutely no more than 8)

Mountainside townhouse features fabulous views from all floors. A queen bed in the master with a full size futon in the loft and a full size bed in the lower level bedroom along with a bunk bed in the bunk room. Full kitchen with breakfast bar, large dining room table opens to the living room with two full sofas provide perfect viewing out the two 6 ft windows or of the cable TV or the brick fireplace that is open on the side as well as the front. Outside is a 16 ft wide deck for outdoor dining or simply sitting and taking in the views of Welch/Dickie and the mountains beyond. Sit outside and enjoy the fantastic mountain sunsets while your favorite foods smoke on the Weber grill. All linens and a fully stocked kitchen complete with spice rack, electric range, dishwasher and disposal make this a home away from home. Cable TV is in living room and the two bedrooms. DVD, stereo with iPod input is also available. The nearby community center has three pools, a lounge and weight room.

We are a family that loves the mountains. With three ski instructors in the house we find this winter escape very special. Even though our year round home is minutes from the ocean, we find the mountains quite alluring year round and are continuously drawn to the area even in the summer months.

It is our second home, not a hotel. We love it as such and hope you do too. We try to keep it fresh and up to date, not worn and run down.

What makes this townhome unique

The view! Can't be matched. The community center for pools. In the winter you are less than 30 minutes to three great ski resorts and you are not committed to just one, pick the best conditions and go. Sometimes it is raining at one and snowing at another. There is also an on site ski area with night skiing.

Perfect!

We recently stayed here with another family over the President's Day weekend, and the townhouse was perfect for 4 adults and 4 children (all under 6!). We skied at Waterville Valley - an easy 15 minute drive from the condo. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well maintained. There are 2 bedrooms on the bottom floor (one of the rooms has bunkbeds) and there is one full bedroom on the top floor, as well as a loft with a bed overlooking the kitchen. The kitchen had new appliances that were nice to use, and the living room was comfortable for our families to watch TV, chat, and play games. We went to the community center to swim one evening; the kids loved it, but the adults felt it was a little dated and a tad grungy.

All in all, it was a GREAT weekend away and we really appreciated the helpful information that Joe provided. We would certainly recommend this place to others!

Ski Vacation

This was our second trip to Thornton and we had another wonderful ski trip with our children. The condo is perfect for a family! The four-bedrooms were a treat for our 3 sons because they all had their our place to relax after skiing. The owner was very helpful in knowing the best places to get lessons for the kids and for the best value. We also went ice skating 10 minutes away and sledding in the back yard. Plenty to do and beautiful views. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone that wants to vacation with their family and be near some great skiing!

Great Family Rental

This property was perfect for our 4th of July weekend away with our 12 and 14 year old children. The condo was clean and well stocked with essentials such as sheets, pillows, towels, cooking utensils. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The view was spectacular and so peaceful. The backyard had a huge grassy area and hill to run (or roll )up and down! The Community Center had so much to do and was included in the rental, so take full advantage of it. The unitl is connected to 4 other units, so it would be fun to rent at the same time with friends or family. So much to do in the area!! The owner was most attentive and supplied us with all the information we needed.

Great Location, Peacefull, Comfortable

We had a great time staying at this house. This house was easily able to accommodate our group of six, and we were all very comfortable. The home was very clean, and well maintained. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful. Inside the house, everything (well almost) is provided. They even had various spices that we were able to use to help flavor our food for the BBQ. Passes were also included with the rental to the local 'club' that offered various activities including Indoor pools, outdoor pool, and a 'pond' with a beach, to name a few. I would recommend this place to anyone, it was a joy.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
