We have stayed a Kiawah many times but we usually rent via beachwalker or resortquest. We wanted the resort this time due to the new water parks for kids and I must say the service from the resort was impeccable. Anytime we needed anything though it was not much as the villa is very well equipped they were very quick to respond.

We had a wonderful time and this was by far the best experience we have ever had at Kiawah.

From the moment we entered the gates on day 1 we were in love, direct location to Kiawah, only a few blocks from the gate, walking distance to the beach and we took advantage using the exercise room. The conventience store outside the gate was marvelous for FRESH egg salad sandwiches, FRESHFIELDS just a few blocks from the entrance and has anything "reasonable" and not escillated pricing. Mort's villa was the perfect location for us: 2 bedrooms - my sister had the large one, I had the twin. We were amazed with the closets, places to put any and everything on shelves in the bedrooms. Flat screen televisions in 3 rooms. A large dining table. A kitchen with "any" and "everything" you can expect to need. (I recommend if you are there as long as we were to bring zip lock bags for cooked left overs.. easy to travel with or from Freshfields).

We were there for a vacation and wedding and genealogy research. Not enough time for everything, so we will return.

We had breakfast every morning on the porch, watched the alligators (2) daily in the AM, gorgeous birds and squirrels would visit us . Peaceful and calm atmosphere.

The PERK of this rental is you can go anywhere in minutes. .... anywhere, when you are so close to the gates and a few minute drive to "anything" under the sun.

Expect a toaster oven, microwave, washer and dryer (we did not use w/d), bowls, cups, saucers, anything and everything for an at home atmosphere.

Should you have any problems - and I do not think you will, help is a minute away.

I would recommend this rental for short or long term rental. This side of Sea Elder Court is perfect - when you enter Sea Elder court the Villa is the first one on the RIGHT. This is a bright and cheery location you will want to book immediately for your next get away.

The villa was exceptionally clean on arrival with lights on where we could easily walk up the few steps.
We recommend Night Heron Park - buy the glass for $20.00 and refill with drinks for $5.00 each time you desire ... money's worth! Beauty salon at Freshfields - superb woman (reddish hair was my stylist) she did exactly what I needed for a wedding. If you do not bring a hat go to Costal Sport
