We just stayed at the house with another family, and we each have 2 year olds. We absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, the house is in wonderful condition, and anything you need to cook, go to the beach, or hang out at the pool is all right there.

The house is well laid out, and we really appreciated all of the child proof locks on the sliding doors leading to the pool too.

We would absolutely stay at the house again!

The house was perfect for my family of 5 (3 little girls) and one set of grandparents. It was clean and had plenty of space to spread out. We took full advantage of the oversize hot tub/spa and the girls especially loved getting into hot water when it was a bit cool outside. I was also happy to find special pins/locks for each off the doors leading out to the spa area, so we felt safe with our 3 year old. And, of course, being across the street from the ocean is especially nice. Brant was very helpful throughout the process. We would do it again!

Just returned from a wonderful vacation! The home is even better than the photos. Highlights... front porch with heater... perfect for December/January evenings and mornings! Sunsets on the beach, followed by hot tub... Amazing!!! Saw whales, dolphin, pelicans... daily!!! Great restaurants within walking distance. Very well appointed, including superb grills!!! All-in-all, a perfect vacation spot! Would definitely rent again! Travelled with our four adult children, plenty of space for all... super layout... space for everyone!

We stayed here for a week, starting Labor Day weekend. The house was great and lived up to the pictures and description on this website. The layout of the house was perfect for me, my wife and our two children. There were three bedrooms downstairs and one bedroom/office upstairs. The garage was loaded with boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys, etc. Brant was easily reachable and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future.

We stayed at this home over the Memorial Day weekend and loved it. The views are amazing and it has a vast balcony off the living room that we spent a lot of time on enjoying the ocean views. It is a very spacious, well maintained home that was very comfortable for us as five adults. The backyard is very private which was great when the crowds got heavy at midday at the beach. The pool/spa was heaven for my wife and daughter. The temperature was a very comfortable 97 degrees with soothing jets and a waterfall. The pool area has a bbq and tv so we could all hang out together while bbqing up some steaks for dinner. Brant was great to work with and I amazingly had my deposit back in just a week. I highly recommend this to anyone that wants relaxation and the beauty and fun of the beach just steps away. The location is right by Kellogg Park which we spent time throwing frisbees around. We will be renting this home again soon.

This was a great find for us. We had 8 adults staying here for a long weekend. It was perfect. Literally right across from the beach. The house had everything. Full stocked of quality linens and towels. The garage had everything you needed for the beach. Kitchen had more than enough serving dishes for a huge dinner. The hot tub/ out door kitchen was amazing. Better than the pictures show. Watched basketball games from the hot tub bar from a crystal clear plasma tv. The property was clean and ready to go for us eventhough someone had checked out that morning. Overall we were so happy with our experience. We highly recommend a group staying here.

The house is exactly as described. The pictures don't do it justice. There is a deck or seating area in every corner of the house. The hot tub was a favorite of our kids, they wanted to move in. The house is very kid friendly, but isn't a kid zone if you don't have any. They have a high chair and even a crib in a closet if you need it.
It is very conveniently located across from the beach and a nice playground. It is very close to town, and only 9 min. away from Sea World.
We ate all meals at the house so I'm not sure of the local restaurants. The house has everything you could need for cooking. There is even 2 outdoor grills:) It is very clean and very well maintained.
We will definitely be back!!!

I have been to La Jolla before and love the area and wanted to rent a house this time instead of staying at a hotel. Wanted a place at the beach with a pool. The pool and outdoor kitchen was incredible at this property! Very relaxing. The website for this home does shows an amazing house. There were some minor things that I was surprised at once we arrived - where the flatscreen tv brackets had been moved - the paint had not been touched up, there were bobby pins laying on the floor in the bathrooms and around the pool area, I agree the rugs are outdated along with the appliances, tv in kitchen didn't work and some of the dishes that were in the cabinets had dried up food on them. Lance the handyman come over to fix some things and was super kind and helpful. 2 things to be aware of in staying at this house: Every Tuesday the pool guy comes to check the water. He will walk back to that area so don't be alarmed - very nice guy. And there is construction going on at the beach right across from the house for about a block. It was noisy at times.

Overall our stay was restful, relaxing and enjoyable! Brandt (property manager) was also available for us and did a good job at letting us know where he was if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this home and would recommend the following restaurants - Brockton Villa or The Cottage for breakfast, Georges on the Cove for lunch and Roy's Hawaiian Fusion for dinner. If you have a car - drive to Del Mar to Jak's - wonderful seafood. So many great choices!
