We stayed for five nights in late January, and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The property is beautiful....serene and tranquil, with lovely marsh views. The house was clean, comfortably furnished, kitchen lacked nothing we needed, and the owner promptly responded when we had a bit of trouble with the TV/DVD instructions. The large pool area, on the second story, overlooks the marsh and we had our dinner out there often. The bikes and other recreational amenities are a bonus. The "house book" addresses any need or question you might have and the owner was a real delight to work with. I hate to "share" such a wonderful secret, but must, as it's one of the best VRBO experiences we've had. The area is Old Florida, laid back, small, friendly, with plenty to do, (manatees, fishing, boating) or just relax in the pool. Great little restaurants nearby. A most lovely getaway!

Owner's Response: Yep, much of the beauty of the place is provided by Mother Nature herself... we are so lucky to have a lovely place at the head waters of Mason Creek and boardering a National Preserve. By boat it is a peaceful, scenic ride to the Gulf of Mexico.
