Welcome to our home away from home in Cabrita Point. Our home overlooks the Pillsbury Sound, the passage between St Thomas and St John, Jost Van Dyke and Tortola. From your private deck you have an incredible panoramic view of the crystal clear water of the Caribbean and a dozen islands great and small. As you dream your day away gazing out you will see the most elegant boats float by with the sound of waves crashing on the cliffs. The temperature is a perfect 85-90F cooled by the ever present trade winds.

We are a 10 minute walk or a three minute drive from the Ritz Carlton. The picturesque small harbor of Red Hook is located 3 miles away with many restaurants and entertainment options in addition to the ferry to St John. The best beaches on the East End are only minutes away; the beaches of the Ritz Carlton, Secret Harbor, and Sapphire. The world famous Magens Bay and the St John National Park are within easy reach, giving you an endless opportunity to explore.

Our home is over 1,200 sq ft and built on one floor with an amazing deck from which to enjoy the island views. The living area is surrounded by 2 full walls of glass. There is no place from where you cannot see the ocean and feel the breeze. Open the glass doors with full screening to lounge on the comfortable furniture. The newly updated kitchen is well equipped with granite counter tops and maple cabinetry and includes a fridge, electric cook top, microwave and a washer and dryer. The master bedroom has its own bath with a unique and private shower. Lie on the king size bed and watch the boats in the distance. The second bedroom has a shared bath and a king size bed. Both bedrooms are air conditioned and have ceiling fans.

We are located in one of the most romantic, secluded, private and at the same time diverse areas of St Thomas. We recommend you rent an SUV or jeep for your visit. We can pre-arrange lots of fun things for you to do. There are many activities within a short distance from the Villa to choose from: snorkeling, fishing, diving, kayaking, golfing and parasailing just to name a few. You can charter a boat to go deep sea fishing or to the BVI or island hopping. We can also set you up with the local market, give them your shopping list and they will have the villa stocked for you upon arrival!! You can enjoy a glass of chilled champagne immediately!

When we are not enjoying the USVI, we spend our time in the Shenandoah Mountains of Virginia with our kids and two crazy miniature schnauzers.

When you get there, you will understand immediately...Trust me, you will not want to leave the deck. The views, the sound of the waves crashing into the cliffs and the breeze are second to none. If you are looking for a place to relax and refresh, this is it!

What makes this condo unique

During our househunting trips, we saw nearly 30 different properties. When we walked down the staircase and onto the deck in Cabrita Point, I took out my pen and wrote 'home' on the real estate flyer. I didn't even need to go inside - seriously.

Our place is located in the very popular East End of St. Thomas, near Red Hook. Red Hook boasts all of the ferries to the BVI and St. John and also has a lot of terrific shops and restaurants. American Yacht Harbor is also located in Red Hook and from there, you can charter numerous boat, dive and snorkeling trips. The Ritz Carlton is a 10 minute walk away, with their great beach, dining and spa. Cabrita Point itself is a GREAT place to walk about...we walk for an hour every morning that we are on island.

We are also very close (less than 3 miles) to Secret Harbor, the St. Thomas Yacht Club, the Elysian, Sapphire Beach, Lindquist Beach, Point Pleasant and Sugar Bay.

Must Do's while you are here:

*Ferry over to St. John and spend the day shopping or go on a hike in the National Forest or check out one of their many fabulous beaches.

*Enjoy a great dinner at Pesce, Caribbean Fish Market or Coco Blue. Have breakfast at Sangria's Beachside cafe or Burrito Bay Deli. Need a burger - try Duffy's or Big Bambooz.

*Book a boat ride from Naughty Nymph or See & Ski...tour some great snorkeling spots in the US and BVI's. Spend the day on Jost Van Dyke at The Soggy Dollar Bar or Foxy's.

*Spend the day at Secret Harbor Beach and have lunch at the Sunset Grille there. Great beach waitresses too!

*Drive north and spend a day at Magen's Bay.

*Go shopping at Yacht Haven Grande or in downtown Charlotte Amalie.

*Or just relax and read a book on the deck and check out the beautiful sailboats cruising by...

I loved the privacy of the house and the spectacular views! The home owners were very accomodating and helpful with providing information about the island. The house is lovely. Very nicely appointed. It is seccluded from the touristy part of town which we loved, but within a short driving distance of beaches, restaurants and night life. We will be doing a return trip!!

Breathtaking--VIEWS--VIEWS--an excellent accommodations!

We loved it! The view is spectacular and the home has all the amenities you could want, from fabulous beds, linens, towels to amazing cooking utensils! We love to cook!

Close to all restaurants and beaches--next to the Ritz Carlton! The views of St. John and other Islands, sunrise & boats was heavenly!

Highly recommended!!! Hopefully we will be back to the Islands and here! Thank you Julie--you are so accommodating.

Spectacular ocean views!

We spent four days and five nights in this villa for our summer vacation. It's impossible not to comment on the location of the property first! The living room has an entire wall of sliding glass and screen doors and the house practically sits on top of the ocean with a clear view of the islands and ocean surrounding. The view morning, noon and night are divine and even better than the pictures in this listing.

The living area and kitchen are spacious and decorated with new furniture and recent updates have been made. You will not be without the luxuries you have at home. Everything was very neat, clean and well-maintained inside and out. We rented a car and spent most of our days at a nearby beach (5 min drive) at a resort called Secret Harbour where we rented snorkeling equipment and there is a beach waiter for cocktails and food.

The location of the house is also very close to Red Hook which has some excellent bars, restaurants and there are daily ferries to surround islands. We easily took a ferry to St. John for dinner one-night and took a day trip to Jost Van Dyke where we spent the day on the beach.

I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a romantic, friend or family getaway. It was incredibly relaxing and it was a pleasure to still be able to enjoy the islands and ocean while at the house in the evening and not at the beach.

Great house...even better location and view!

My girlfriend and I stayed in this amazing house for a week last month, and it was just what we needed! A short drive from the airport to the East End of St. Thomas, this place is literally on the very end of the island. The views are incredible, as you can easily see St. John, Jost van Dyke, Tortola, and numerous smaller islands. We would spend hours on end simply reading, drinking homemade painkillers, and enjoying the serenity provided by this ideal location. We will never forget the non-stop breeze, either...absolutely glorious!

The house itself gives you everything you will ever need: great deck for sunning/reading/sitting/etc, grill, two spacious bedrooms (with four-poster beds!), HD satellite TV (for those you HAVE to feel connected back home), rainfall showers, and an expansive open-plan living room and kitchen.

For activities, we were close enough to walk to the Ritz for sunbathing, swimming, and dining/drinks, but we could also drive 2-3 minutes to use the beaches at Secret Harbour, Sapphire Beach, etc. The ferries to other islands are also (literally) a 3-minute drive away in downtown Red Hook.

All in all, we would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
