My husband, our 3 kids and myself enjoyed our stay at this clean and efficient condo. It was not lacking
anything. It was clean and roomy enough for all of us. The location was great. We were so close to all the places we wanted to visit and close to the metro when we wanted a rest from walking. We love DC and this was our 2nd trip and will be back again no doubt. The price was very affordable as well.

Perfect location for full work week on Capitol Hill

Ideally located eight blocks from the Capitol and the National Mall. Little time in our days for play, but the apartment provided the ideal resting spot at night. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Plenty of Capitol Hill restaurants within walking distance. And the Eastern Market breakfast spot is open early for a hearty meal.

Our stay was great! The perfect location - and the parking spot was definitely a plus. The owners were very helpful and friendly. It is a small area, but well layed out and our group of five was quite comfortable. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

We really liked staying here. There was lots of space for a family of 4. We appreciated the extra things like the refillable metro cards, ice cream vouchers, scooters, umbrellas, shampoo and conditioner, etc. Location was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and there were spare towels.

Perfect for walking tour stay in DC

Thanks to accurate reviews we chose this gem. Perfect little home from home, the owner has attended to every detail and is very kind (we unintentionally arrived very late and she left us a lovely gesture for relaxation ). There are a couple of bikes to use, which were handy to nip about. It is literally in line with the Mall, 8 block stroll to the Capitol. Could not have done better in terms of quality and location. There was also a parking space which was very valuable for us. We stayed with 4 kids aged 7-14, it was cosy, comfy and we can't recommend highly enough. BTW we used our congressman to book tours for library of congress and capitol. We also took a trip out to Dulles air and space museum which is fantastic.

Perfect Stay for Family with Young Children

My husband and I along with our three young children (10, 8, and 5) stayed in this apartment for Spring Break. It was a great location - we were able to walk to the mall and capitol building with our children with no problem. We also were able to walk to the Eastern Market metro stop and restaurants just blocks away. Our favorite restaurant was Ted's Bulletin - we ate there for both dinner and breakfast. Don't miss the milk shakes and homemade pop tarts! We also had rented a car for our stay in order to visit friends who lived outside of the city. The fact this property had an off street parking space for us was very convenient.
The apartment itself was very well represented in the VRBO site pictures and fit our family perfectly. There is both an outside door to the street and another door - we felt very safe and secure at all times.
The thing that impressed me the most about this property was the owner. She went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. From the very first email inquiring about her property, she was prompt and courteous. While we were there, I had several questions about the apartment, and she always responded within the hour! It even rained unexpectedly one day, and she loaned our family two additional umbrellas (I had packed two.) She was a life saver!
The owner has stocked the apartment with many supplies I was not expecting. There is dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, all kitchen pots / pans / utensils / etc, a hair dryer. Some VRBOs I have stayed in the past expect you to buy detergent, paper products, etc - not this one! Thank you!
I highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting to stay close to the Hill in a great neighborhood!

Great location, great owner!

My husband and I brought our two daughters (11 and 14) to DC and chose this apartment to stay in. Frankly, we couldn't be happier. The proximity to Eastern Market, the Metro and "restaurant row" on 7th street were great. The apartment was very clean, and although it was small, the kitchen was stocked enough for the small meals we made there once or twice. Don't worry about the size of the kitchen -- use it as an excuse to go out and try the local eateries, which are great! We tried Ted's Bulletin (a must!), Tortilla Cafe (Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives location), Matchbox (great atmosphere, great wood-fired pizzas), and Tunnecliffs (not a stand-out like the others, but a good bet). We also tried various goodies from Eastern Market -- the homemade mozzarella-basil ravioli from the pasta people was amazing and the homemade pancakes from another stall were wonderful! By all means, though, the highlight of the area for me was the Sweet Lobby -- winner of Cupcake Wars on Food Network and DEFINITELY worth a try!
What made this experience even better was the great service that the owners offered us from the moment we booked through our time in their apartment. Each one of our emails was answered promptly and contained great information given with a positive attitude. We really appreciated that!
Bottom line: this place is a good choice!

Perfect location and excellent accommodations!
New/clean furnishings, mattresses, towels, linens, rugs and kitchen amenities allowed our stay at this location to be very enjoyable and pleasant for a family of five. We could eat and sleep well in the comforts of this apartment. Furthermore, the Capitol Hill location is spectacular. You can easily walk to the heart of the Capitol Hill area which offers excellent dining, markets, shops etc. It is also only an 8 block walk to the Capitol building+. Lastly, we took advantage of the 2 adult bikes which allowed us to bike all around DC.
The owner was a delight to work with and the parking a huge plus. We would definitely return and/or highly recommend this property to others.

The apartment was cute, well-furnished and fabulous location. It had all of the amenities you would expect and the absolute best thing was the PARKING on the PROPERTY. We walked to the Capitol, subway 4 safe easy blocks away.. My sons jogged and rode the bikes up and down the mall. The restaurants at the Eastern Market were great. We originally rented this for 4 adults and one child. Our other son joined us at the last minute so we ended up with 5 adults and one child. Very cramped for that many, but that was our fault not the property. Highly recommend for a family of four
