Nice Place
I am writing this as I sit at the table in 2PC. This is very nice, had beach chairs, towels, and greatly needed umbrella. Clean and all working appliances. Nice to have full size washer and dryer. We stayed here as a family of 4 (2 teenage children) and had a great week. Wireless internet worked well. Ate at several reasonable priced restaurants, but you had to really search for them. Locals were friendly as well.

Great place for a relaxing vacation
We spent a week in June at this property,and could not have been happier. The location is perfect, a very quite area of the beach, about midpoint between the two public beaches, and not near a major resort complex. It is well located with respect to shopping and dining as well.
The beds are very comfortable, as is the furniture. You will never run out of coffee - I counted four electric coffee makers and dozens of cups. The appliances are fairly new, and work well.
If I was forced to find fault with the place, I would say that the beach furniture is really beat. Still, it worked, and many places don't offer it at all.

Great view, peaceful island & decent accomodations
Great view, peaceful island & decent accomodations
If you are looking for a quiet get-away with an incredible view, then this property is the place. Penthouse level condo provides the quietest property locale with spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. The condo is in good shape: updated rugs in living room & second bedroom, new dining table & lighting, tiled floors (vs. linoleum) & all new kitchen appliances…clean place. The living room & master bedroom both have sliding glass doors that open all the way onto a screened porch that overlooks the gulf & surrounding property.
There are a few drawbacks that are worth noting. Though the web listing for this condo say there are 8 beach chairs, there are only 6 & they are, at best, ready for the trash heap. The master bedroom could use a carpet upgrade, too, & though it’s nice that there is a TV in the bedroom, it is too small to comfortably watch from bed. The Island Beach Club is not super-kid friendly. Have restrictive pool policies, including no children allowed in the pool between the hours of 3-4 pm...right when you'd be coming off the beach & want to take a dip with the family. No play ground & live-in owners did not present themselves as very friendly.
Was impressed that the owners called to see how our stay was going ~ nice follow through (we forgot to write in the guest book ~ sorry!).
Sanibel is truly a dream island. Great family dining (recommend the Island Cow & Lazy Flamingo), miles of bike trails (gotta rent bikes), ~1/2 of the island consists of wildlife preserves, with ample opportunity to see most species of indigenous animals...above all else, Sanibel offers the best beach shelling we have ever seen! Enough grocery stores & other shops present that we did not need to leave the island at all. Would recommend this as a great condo for adults, or for families if you are willing to deal with some minor restrictions.
