Enjoy gorgeous panoramic ocean and coastline views from Casa Maria. Nestled in the hills at the end of a cul de sac, this very special home offers utmost privacy, peace and tranquility. Beautiful hardwood floors, fireplace in living room, large front deck for relaxing and outdoor dining. Kitchen with bar setting, full bath with shower tub, ocean view master bedroom with queen bed, bonus room off living room with sofa sleeper and flat screen TV and DVD player. Incredible grounds (1/2 acre), with pristine open space stretching down to the sea- minutes from the beach, park, restaurants and downtown Laguna Beach. Truly a hidden gem!

Little Slice of Paradise
We have been fortunate enough to stay in Casa Maria for several months. We couldn't have found a more idyllic rental as well as an incredibly beautiful setting. The cottage is tastefully furnished and has everything we need for a long term stay. It is quiet and wonderfully comfortable. Our guests have enjoyed staying in the downstairs bedroom. The sunsets are just glorious as is walking along Laguna Beach.We love to take a twenty minute walk down to the beach and, in the evening, drive down the hill to three terrific restaurants: Mozambique, Royal Thai Cuisine and Ristorante Rumari. We also enjoy exploring the hiking trails at Top of the World and biking in nearby Aliso and Wood Canyons Park. Another favorite pastime is watching dozens of bottlenose dolphins play just off the coast directly below the cottage.
The owners, JC and Ruth, couldn't be nicer or more accommodating, responding to our questions and requests immediately. They are very informative as to local attractions, restaurants and highlights of the area. We are greatly looking forward to returning to Casa Maria next year.

Exceptional in every way!
We are originally from Orange County and have been living in Washington, DC for 11 years now. Every year, we come home and rent places in Laguna -- so we have stayed in many VRBO properties in the area. Casa Maria, by far, was the most relaxing property in which we have stayed. The view is tremendous, its quiet, beautiful, and serene -- a real paradise! It was worth every penny and then some. It was indeed very hard to leave and I kept thinking about how I could buy Casa Maria from the owners!!! Alexa was fantastic and the whole experience was much better than we had ever had before. Divine!

Perfect for 2
We spent a couple of days at Casa Maria in and really had a hard time leaving the place.
Everything about the place seemed perfect for a couples vacation.
The balcony and the views are incredible, the kitchen has everything you will need, the bed is super comfortable etc.
You will need a car to get to the beach or to town.
I can only recommend this place and hope that I can come back one day!

Classic beach cottage with unpararlled location.
This home is a classic Laguna Hills property with privacy and amazing views. Upon arrival the home was ready for us with a great bottle of Champagne and flowers. Mornings were my favorite as I would sit out on the deck with my coffee and watch the marine layer come up through the hills around me, you almost feel like you are on top of the world, very peaceful with birds, butterflies, and squirrels all out and about. On three mornings I seen a few pods of dolphins and several pelicans.There is a separate guest bedroom downstairs out back which was perfect for the kids and one night a local friend and wife stayed with us. Sunsets are just what you would expect from this location and then the stars come out which gives you that special view since there are no street lights up here. We enjoyed our visit very much and have already booked agin for next year. Thanks again to the owners for sharing their home with us. A vacation we will always remember :)

Enchanted Retreat
This is such an amazing property! We had a fabulous stay. A one of a kind cottage in Laguna Beach! The wild open land in front of the property with unobstructed ocean views brought us back in time. Casa Maria was extremely clean, well maintained and had everything we needed for a fun vacation. It brought us all back to the basics of what matters most in life...our family, the birds chirping in the trees, the sunlight glimmering off the ocean and the smell of salt in the coastal air. It was a trip we will always cherish. We will definitely be back. Thanks Casa Maria!!!

Great ocean View
This home was very clean and the owners were so helped us plan trips to Disneyland and Knots Berry Farm.
We enjoyed the wonderful Woods Cove Beach at the bottom of the hill with white sands and tide pools.
It was also nice to be close to the grocery stores and restaurants.
I would recommend and will this property to my friends and family.

Simply Perfect!
This timeless Laguna Beach home far exceeded our expectations with its sweeping views, expansive grounds, and classic charm. This wasn't just a vacation rental, but a home-away-from home for our family. The jaw dropping views, reaching across the lush canyon and the ocean to Catalina Island 26 miles away, were breathtaking and, at sunset, simply spectacular. Not only does the owner pay attention to detail, like the fresh orchids on the counter, but keeps this home in perfect condition. Casa Maria is extremely private and we felt as if we were the only ones appreciating the stunning views during our stay. It is also situated close to downtown Laguna Beach, Monarch Beach, Dana Point and Newport Beach with countless things to do. It can easily serve as a private romantic getaway for couples who can enjoy the sunset views from the deck with a glass of wine or as a fantastic family-friend vacation hideaway. Our kids loved the climb into the canyon, using the tree house, and having their own private room downstairs - not to mention being only minutes from the beach! Case Maria is a win-win for all!
