If you are looking for a real antique Roman holiday, this is the place. A quaint little apartment well furnished, clean, and centrally located in the heart of Rome. Nearby is a local fresh market and food stores including a small supermarket all in the Fountain of Trevi area. Plenty of nearby restaurants, close to the subway and bus transportation. Paola is always available and ready to help with whatever your needs may be. She has also compiled information regarding all the local tourist and sight seeing locations and restaurants. All this is very helpful and an added extra bonus to renting this apartment. You definitely won't be disappointed and the convenience of this location makes travelling as a tourist so easy. You are a stones throw from throwing your coin in the fountain to make sure you get back to Rome.

Trevi Fountain House was a lovely apartment. It is as the name implies just a splash away from possibly the worlds most beautiful and famous fountains. However this is just one of hordes of stunning sights to see All Italy's cities are lovely but Rome is overwhelming such is the quantity and quality of the sights there.
However this review is about the apartment It I'd full of character medieval I believe with genuine beamed ceiling a small balcony It is also well equipped free WiFi cooking hob microwave The bed is large and comfortable and fair bit of storage. If there was one problem it was the ceiling is low in places so watch your head There are sofas and dinning table to relax and eat. This can save a lot of money as Rome is beautiful but not cheap. The owner Paola is very nice and extremely welcoming and helpful

Great flat in the center of Rome

We had a great week in Paolas flat. It's a pretty and comfortable place to stay. As we spent a whole week in Rome, it is a big advantage to reach every sight in town by walking. Trevi Fountain is just around the corner, nice places to eat out are close by. The flat invites to make a break during the day. You find everything you need in the appartment. The kitchen ist well equipped, the bathroom and the shower well maintained. The bedroom is nice and As the flat is in the upper floor, we enjoyed a nice view over the rooftops of Rome.
And the bedroom is cosy and comfortable.
When we arrived at the flat, Paola, the owner of the flat, welcomed us warmly and provided us with very useful information about the flat and great osterias and trattorias!
If you look for an appartment which is right in the center of Rome and very nicely furnitured, this is the one!
We can highly recommend the appartment and come definitely back!
And the bedroom is cosy and comfortable.
When we arrived at the flat, Paola, the owner of the flat, welcomed us warmly and provided us with very useful information about the flat and great osterias and trattorias!
If you look for an appartment which is right in the center of Rome and very nicely furnitured, this is the one!

Wonderful Experience

All my wife and I can say is Bravo Paola. We arrived on 12/26 and were immediately greeted at the airport by our driver,arranged by Paola, and whisked to the apartment. This being our first experience with apartment rental we were a bit unsure of what to expect. Upon arrival Paola was there to greet us and she covered every aspect of the apartment and places we should eat at. The unit was very comfortable and quiet, being the Christmas and New Years week Rome was teeming with visitors and we thought it would be noisy. The only sounds we heard were the bells that tolled every 15 minutes but after the first night it was like they were not even there, and now we miss them. The apartment was exceptionally clean and very secure. As I said Paola recommended that we eat at several restaurants and there is one in particular where we had lunch, then dinner and then a romantic New Years Eve dinner, it is directly in back of the unit and is called Fontana di Venere, do not miss the opportunity to go there, Bruno and his staff were exceptional and provided us with long lasting memories. In closing if you are looking for a hotel alternative experience for Rome, that is within walking distance of most everything, email Paola, you will not go wrong. Our next visit will definitely be through her.

Beautiful Rome

We loved the apartment, so much that my first day back at home I woke up , disappointed I was not opening my eyes to the exposed beams of Trevi Fountain House. The apartment has a perfect location, we walked to all sites, easily and found our way back , no problems. The apartment area is traffic free and noise free (except for the Presidential Palace bell that rings continuously, but you get used to and I actually missed it when home). Wifi was extremely slow and annoying, dropping out and losing connection. Only one other thing could be improved, the apartment needs a TV or small CD player or similar to play some music later in the evening once home. We loved the apartment and it is exactly how photos look. Owners are very friendly and helpful which added to our welcome to Rome. I way to go back ASAP. Thankyou

Great central Rome stay

This was a great place and affordable price in the center of Rome ... literally 30 second walk from the Trevi Fountain. We found it an excellent hub for our 4 days in Rome and we were able to walk everywhere. The suite is on the top floor but there is an elevator which was great! Top floor means slanted roof in the apartment, so you need to duck to get to the balcony and sitting area in the living room, but the place doesn't feel too small because of that. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked (we only had breakfast each morning in the apartment but you could cook meals quite easily as well). A couple of things to be aware of: the shower is really small but functional. The internet was slow but I think this is being rectified in the coming months. You can hear the church bells a bit at night (not sure how to avoid this in Rome with 840 churches though!)
The biggest bonus of this place though is Paola. She was a fantastic host, continuously communicated with us before the trip, made some fantastic restaurant and site recommendations (even helped book a memorable 40th b-day restaurant for my wife). So this really makes the place worth staying at.

Perfect location to discover Rome

We really enjoyed our stay at the Trevi fountain house. Perfectly located in the very heart of the city. Coliseum, Pantheon, Piazza Navona...name it, everything is in walking distance. The apartment was very clean. All the furniture was new. We have appreciated the personnal touch in the decoration. Extremely quiet and very relaxing after a long day of visiting. The listing description and the photos are very accurate. The owner welcomed us very warmly. She gave us a lot of information and references that were really helpful. She made all the arrangements for transportation from and to the airport. Which proved to be very reliable: we had to leave very early and the driver was at the door at 4:00 AM SHARP. We would definitely recommend this property. Gens du Quebec, nous vous recommandons cet appartement sans hesitation. Comme on dit chez nous: c'est tigidou. En plus, la proprio comprend le francais et parle un excellent anglais.

Perfect charming Apartment

My two boys and I arrived at the Trevi Fountain House and the place was beyond my expectations—It was clean, comfortable and charming. The exposed wood ceiling and the view of the roofs of adjacent buildings were priceless. We were at the heart of historical Rome. I felt safe. The apartment was so well located that we also strolled around the neighborhood in the evening and had everything at hand just steps away from the apartment. The owner had left us a printed guide with recommended restaurants, supermarkets and places to go which was a nice personal touch. We cooked a few nights in the apartment and it was great! The kitchen was well equipped. Having the luxury of an air-conditioner in the entire apartment made our super hot summer Rome nights very pleasant and the wash machine allowed us to enjoy our vacation without having to spend time doing laundry elsewhere.
My boys and I felt very much at home and we highly recommend this charming apartment.

Wonderful Space!

We've recently returned from a girl's trip to Italy and couldn't be happier with our accommodations! The apartment is very clean, stylishly decorated and fully furnished (the Air Condition is definitely a major plus too - especially in the summer months). When you step out of the door and onto Rome's bustling streets you are literally steps away from the Trevi Fountain, many delicious restaurants and lots of people watching. We would definitely recommend this to any one who is looking for a true Roman experience.

We had a nice stay at the Trevi Fountain House. This was our first time to Rome and our first experience using HomeAway. We had reservations about personal safety and good locations when looking for a place to stay during our travels. We felt very safe and this apartment was very secure (multiple locking entrances to minimize public access) and was in a GREAT location. We really enjoyed the easy access to grocery stores and small markets to buy food to prepare some meals at the apartment. All the dishes and flatware were available to make this possible - to include an Italian Coffee Pot. The apartment was quiet and shielded from any outdoor noise because of the beautiful view over the rooftops of the quiet courtyard. We moved the stools to the balcony to enjoy our lemoncello in the evenings. We really enjoyed having a cool place to retreat to during the afternoon heat to play board games or relax after a busy morning of nearby sightseeing. This apartment is just down from the Trevi Fountain but also within reasonable walking distance of The Colosseum, The Pantheon, Piazza di Spagna and many more. We also walked to Vatican City and to Trastevere from the apartment. These sights were a little farther away but still reasonable. Knowing there was a washing machine and clothesline allowed us the freedom to do some laundry throughout the trip so that we didn't have to pack a lot of clothes (leaving room in our luggage for souveniers). The amenities were as listed. Tthe owners even arranged for our transportation to and from the airport which was one less thing we had to worry about and we really appreciated it. Our party was of 2 adults and 2 teenagers and the apartment suited us very well.
