It is very reassuring to arrive at your holiday accommodation & find it to be exactly as it had been described. Our apartment was spacious, well appointed, very clean & in good order. Our host, Mehmet, could not have been more charming & helpful.

Chiconomy is superbly located in a relatively non-touristic area, with access to good inexpensive local restaurants & shops. You are only 5 minutes walk away from Istanbul's cheap & comprehensive public transport system, which will take you to Sultanahmet, where many of the mayor monuments & places of interest are located, in less than 15 minutes.

Excellent, well located accommodation in a vibrant & fascinating city - what more could one ask?

The Appartment is very modern, clean and comfortable, as shown on the pictures. The owner is very kind and the service above average. Around the appartment are plenty options for shopping, restaurants, bars and already some sights (e.g. Galata-Tower). There´s a good connection to the public transport.

We spent 4 night in the 5th floor suite and that was the best value for money flat we rented.
As we arrived late, we booked the airport transfer which is very well organised.
The staff was very helpfull and available even late at night.
The location is perfect in a small street going to Isisktal a pedestrian street full with shops, restaurants, bars... There is a taxi station at the end of the street in front of the Marmara Pera Hotel or you can use public transport : funicular to Galata Bridge to catch the tram to Old City or old tram to Taksim square to catch the Metro.
The flat is furnished with taste and comfortable. Only slight downside is noise coming from construction work and air con, but with earplugs you can sleep.
We will definitely go back next time we go to Istanbul!

Nice location, but may have prefered the other side of the river. What attracted me to the place was the lovely balcony photos. Due to the constant deafening ac unit on the roof next door, sitting out there was impossible! The fact that the balcony's sliding doors locked behind you, was downright dangerous. The elevator worked less than half the time, so we got our exercise on the 5th floor = P ....and might as well not have TV if the only thing you can get is Al Jazeera. I was also frustrated with several failed attempts to contact the owner to change our arrival pick-up time. Finally made contact by having aTurkish Innkeeper call for us.

Party of three stayed at the Chiconomy Suites, Istanbul on the 17th - 21st October 2012. From the moment we arrived, I have to say, we loved every minute of our stay in Istanbul. For a nominal fee, the apartments provides an excellent airport collection service which will be waiting for you on arrival. After an enjoyable taxi ride, we were greeted by Mehmet who showed us to our accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised to see how nice the suites actually are. The place was spotless, modern and had all the necessary facilities/amenities that you would require. Mehmet will provide you with all information you need regarding public transport, Wi-Fi codes, ATMs, supermarkets etc etc.......leaving you with little else to do but enjoy your stay in Istanbul. Location is perfect, we walked everywhere and spent the days wandering through the streets, up and down hills taking in all the interesting spectacles Istanbul has to offer. I don't think I've ever been in a city where the people are so friendly and relaxed. Couldn't say a bad word about this trip. I guarantee I'll be back to again, sooner rather than later!

We stayed in the two bedroom suite in October -- which meant that we could have our 1.5 year old son in a crib (nice, clean crib and bedding provided by chiconomy - great!) in a separate room, so we could enjoy evenings after he fell asleep without having to tiptoe around for fear of waking him. The space was perfect -- everything we needed, but also minimalist, beautifully designed and very user friendly. Top this off with having one of the best locations in Istanbul, and you've got a perfect spot to stay. I feel we can say this with some authority too. We lived in Istanbul for a year back in 2005 so we know the city quite well. We are definitely returning to Chiconomy when next we visit and have highly recommended it to colleagues who visit the city frequently.

We visited Istanbul for the first time in September and stayed at Chiconomy Suites in Beyoglu for one week. The 2-bedroom apartment was as clean, stylish and spacious as the photos depict. Located just a 1/2 block from the hugey popular Istiklal Street and the famous Pera Palace Hotel, the apartment was in the perfect place. The owner Mehmet was a gracious host, waiting for us at the apartment when our flight schedule was delayed, helping to guide the tax nearby and coming out to greet us and lead the way. The A/C made the suite cool and comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The main bedroom was large with firm but comfortable beds. There were plenty of fresh white towels and evene 2 sets of white terry cloth slippers with the Chiconomy Suites logo. The sparkling clean black & white tiled art deco bathroom had two sinks and mirrors, shower and lots of storage space. The second bedroom with a stylish murphy bed in the bookcase also doubled as a living room with a sofa, chairs and coffee table. The room had a nice sized balcony with a small table and 2 chairs and an urban view of rooftops. The galley-style kitchen was stocked with all the necessary dishware, cooking pans and utensils, plus a small fridge, cooktop, coffee-maker, microwave, toaster and even a dishwasher. Although tap water is not drinkable in Istanbul, Mehmet supplied two large glass bottles of filtered water in the fridge, plus there's a free filtered water access on the lower level for easy refills. The artwork throughout the apartment is striking and apparently also for sale. Again, its a great location and easily walkable to everything. It's even close to Gelata Tower with lots of winding cobblestone streets, shops, restaurants and sights along the way. Taxis are quite inexpensive and plentiful.
