I rented this house over new years for a group of 15 young adults (ages 25-33) and could not have been happier with my selection, especially for the price.

Overview: The house was extremely clean and well maintained. We loved having the spacious kitchen for cooking and group dinners, and the separate living room was great for watching movies. The layout of the house was perfect for a group of this size and never felt too crowded (we spent most nights hanging out at the house). Kelly was incredibly helpful in answering my questions, and made sure that the driveway was plowed each morning (which was great because we got a ton of snow while we were up there)

Location: The house is about 15 minutes from Killington mountain, but only 10 from the skyeship gondola. I would definitely recommend starting out at skyeship gondola it is really easy to park and rarely crowded. The house is also located right next to the long trail brewery, which has great food and beer for after skiing!

Cons: the only con was that the house only has 2 bathrooms, so if you are with a big group there might be a wait to use the showers, although this is minor considering the quality of the house.

Overall I would definitely recommend this house!

This is a very nice, well maintained property in a beautiful setting. There is lots of space, a large kitchen, and large dining/living room. The house was very clean and well maintained. The owner is very nice, helpful, and quick with responses. The only thing I did not like about this house was that a caretaker lives on the property and this was not mentioned at any point while talking with the owner or on the listing. While this did not end up being a big deal for us, I could see it being a problem for any group that was looking to stay up late, have some drinks, be a little loud and party. I personally didn't feel like we had the sense of privacy you expect when renting a house, knowing that the caretaker was in his apartment that is attached to the house and shares a wall. It didn't end up being an issue, I don't think anyone even saw him while we were there, but again, it felt more like a B&B, where you are someone's guest, than renting a house, where you can relax and be yourself. While it was a nice house, I do not see myself recommending it to others. That being said, for a quite group, it is a very reasonable place to sleep 14 people.
