This house is perfect for family reunions!
First off the owner is a genuinely nice guy, who lived in this house for many years (so it's not just well taken care of, but well thought out).
Second, the house itself is fantastic! We had a ~20 person family reunion on Memorial Day, and hit a really bad spell of weather (40 degrees and cold rains!) But luckily the house has enough space and things to do (pool table, foosball, ping pong, hot tub, gym, kids toys) that no one complained at all! Plus once the weather warmed up (to 60) that private lake in the back yard was an enormous hit! The watercraft (kayak, paddleboat, and canoe) got everyone fishing, rowing and generally on the water. Plus there's a tiny public beach a 1 minute paddle from the house (on the lake), where the little ones played endlessly with the tadpoles. Overall a great stay, and a great time. HIGHLY recommended! - Joe

Wonderful Weekend Away
We had a great weekend with family and friends. The pictures barely do the beauty of this property justice. We spent days swimming and boating in the lake and evenings in the hot tub or playing games. It was quiet and secluded, but still very easy to get to from the highway. There was also a supermarket less than 5 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone interested in a classy lake house getaway! We will be planning our next stay very soon!

Loved Terrace on the Lake
We spent last weekend at Terrace on the Lake for my dad's 70th birthday, and it could not have been better! The house is so spacious there was plenty of room for our entire extended family. The kitchen area is very well designed to accommodate a large group and my mother said several times that this is the perfect layout for an extended family. We especially loved all of the outdoor decks, the hot tub, and the docks on the lake (which was crystal clear and stocked w/ fish). Saturday night we spent around the fire pit roasting marshmallows, which everyone enjoyed. Charlie was a pleasure and so very helpful. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental to others!! Thank you, Charlie, for a great weekend full of wonderful memories.

Had a wonderful week and wedding!
This is a long overdue review but we got married 9/22/12 here. The entire family was incredibly helpful, especially considering the extra stress and work that goes into having a wedding on the property. We originally planned to use the back yard for the ceremony but it had rained that day. We were able to move it inside with no problem (we had 50 people) and the space was still great.
We stayed the week after the wedding along with a handful of guests. We were there when most of the Lake George activity had died down after the summer, but it was so pleasant being at the house with the boats, jacuzzi, fire pit, etc. we didn't miss a thing.
A number of our guests left talking about wanting to rent the house themselves!

Our party of 14 had a fantastic family reunion in this house. Enough room for everyone to spread out.
Spotlessly clean and excellently equipped.
Charlie was great even coming and moving snow from driveway for us.

Spectacular
My friends / family and I had a wonderful time at this vacation home! It was Clean, comfortable and huge. The winter landscape was breath taking. They had gorgeous views of the snow falling from the large windows in the main living space. It was like a scene out a film! In our back yard was a frozen lake (Echo Lake) that was used for snow mobile racing that Saturday. Gore mountain ski resort which is about 20 minutes away is a "must go to" as well. The people in the town of Warrensburg, where we went shopping for food and things, were very kind and polite to us as well. So we went to hang out and take pictures over their. So much fun! Charlie the owner, was very very kind, helpful and accommodating. (You'll like him). Lol. All the amenities they mentioned are exactly as stated on website, and more. We will definitely be back here again, for sure. We Loved every minute of it, tremendously. Thanks Charlie!

Amazing Place
We stayed in this beautiful house for the president day weekend and the experience was amazing. This vacation was one of the best I ever had. Me and my friend took advantage of all the luxury and spectacular views that the house would give. We left with so many memories and almost 500 pictures. Can't wait to return back.

Perfect
Perfect trip to break up the winter. The house was as advertised and so much more. We had a blast ice fishing, sledding and sitting around the outdoor fire. Plenty of room inside for the adults to relax and the kids to play. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and we cannot wait to come again. This home provided us with memories that or children will never forget. This home is truly a winterwonderland. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us and we cannot wait to see you again.

Annual Winter Getaway
Each year our group of 11 friends plans a winter weekend getaway. We have stayed at some wonderful places in the Northeast and Terrace on the Lake rates right up there as one of the best. It is a beautiful, sparkling clean and spacious home with a view of Echo Lake that is breathtaking. We had everything needed to make our stay perfect. There were ample bedrooms with down comforters and plenty of pillows, flatscreen tvs in all the rooms, and private baths spread out over 3 floors; 2 large living areas to gather for conversation and cocktails, Pictionary and puzzles; and 2 well-stocked kitchens that even a gourmet cook appreciated. Several of us took advantage of the outside hot tub while snow continued to fall from Nor'easter Nemo. In Adirondack Park and close to Lake George, we did a little shopping at the outlets and then headed into town to see snowmobile races and the ice sculptures during Winter Carnival. It was a fun and relaxing stay and Charlie and Yolanda were gracious and accomodating hosts. We couldn't have asked for more.
