Great little studio apartment!!
Where do I even start?! My boyfriend and I visited San Francisco for our first time in early April 2013, and we stayed in this "Nob Hill Getaway" for 7 nights. My credit card payments for the apartment were simple and quick - no issues, and my damage deposit was reimbursed on my credit card very promptly after we left. The location of the apartment is everything everybody says -- fantastic. We took BART from the airport to the Powell Street stop, and walked to the airport (about 5 blocks). Not for the faint of heart if you're pulling luggage, but cost effective if you're traveling on a budget! Walk 10 minutes south and you're in union square, 10 minutes east and you're downtown/Chinatown, 10-15 minutes west (and a steep incline) you're at the top of Nob Hill. We couldn't have asked for a better location!! My boyfriend was attending a conference at the Moscone Center and it took him exactly 20 minutes to walk there (but cab prices are a lot better in SF than we're used to, so that is also an option!) Bianca had sent precise directions and entrance descriptions, so we had no issues gaining entry to the building. The apartment building itself is quiet, very quaint and very well maintained (elevator will take your luggage to correct floor!). The apartment unit itself was small (being a studio apartment), and perhaps a bit smaller than the pictures make you think. For 1 person for a week or more, it would be perfect!! For 2 people for 1 week, it was starting to get a little tight (with luggage, clothes, new purchases, 2 people, laundry, etc). However, that being said, we do NOT regret staying there in the least; the set up of the apartment maximizes the small amount of space to its fullest. There is a closet and an armoire for clothes, a washer/dryer unit, the kitchen was tiny (but effective) and every little thing we needed was there - bottle opener, laundry detergent, maps & SF travel books, etc. The apartment was very clean - spotless in fact - and the water pressure in the bathroom was fine! The apartment gets great light during the day, even though it faces other apartments and there is an a/c unit in the window which was greatly appreciated! There is a small grocery store directly beside the apartment (convenient!), and a slightly bigger one less than a block away. We loved our whole trip to SF, and this apartment helped make it perfect! In conclusion, the listing is extremely accurate and I would recommend this studio apartment to friends!
