Our family just returned from a weeks stay at the beautiful Sanctuary by the Sea. This is our second time at the property, but first in #3122. The gulf view is much better than our previous location. The patio space is fabulous. One is covered and the other is a sun deck. We also used the sun deck to star gaze at night and listen to the ocean waves and frogs croaking from the lake. So peaceful. We will definitely be back. Our favorite dining spots were Cafe 30A, George's (at Alys Beach), and Great Southern. Also check out the wine bar in Watercolor. Great place to sit out on the patio with a glass of wine and let the time pass by. One minor suggestion to VRBO. It would be nice to provide more than two beach chairs for a 4 bedroom villa. We had 4 adults and went to the beach every day, so it would have been nice if an adequate number of chairs had been provided.

Sanctuary By The Sea is so convenient to everything. It's a short drive from the airport in Panama City. It's also a short drive to all of the great restaurants in the area. Our favorite place to eat is Cafe 30-A. We also enjoyed breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe which is less than 5 minutes away. The Blue Mtn Beach area is paradise. The dune lakes and pine trees give way to the most incredible beaches. We have stayed in many areas over the years, but this is by far one of our favorites.

Thank you Nancy and Larry for the key lime pie waiting in the fridge. I fell in love with key lime pie from The Donut Hole over a decade ago and it still tastes just as great today.

The process of renting from Nancy was incredibly easy. She truly is your friend at the beach and I would highly recommend working with Nancy to rent this or any of her other properties.

The property itself is amazing. Loved everything about Sanctuary - convenient parking, wonderful pools. It's been said in other reviews, but the view from the condo is even better than photos are able to show. The outdoor living space on both levels is amazing. We enjoyed watching the sunsets over the dune lake. The dune lakes are unique and this part of Florida is the only place in the US where you can even experience one. To stay in a place where you look directly out over a dune lake is very special.

We were greeted every day at the beach by Kyle who set up the beach chairs and umbrella each day. The beach is huge and uncrowded with the most beautiful crystal clear water.

This is a great place and working with Nancy made this one of our best beach vacations ever!

What a beautiful place! Santuary by the Sea was even more beautiful than the pictures show. My family celebrated my sons graduation from college here and there was something for everyone. The beach is lovely, the furnishings and amenities top notch. Nancy was so helpful and pleasant during the entire process, from reserving to the end of our stay. We cannot wait to come back!

We stayed at Sanctuary by the Sea this last weekend and loved it! The condo was sparkling clean and had everyting we needed to make a gourmet dinner. The views from both master bedrooms are out of a postcard! We will be back soon, definently the best place we have stayed in all the years we have been coming!

We are approaching the last day of our stay here at Sanctuary-by-the-Sea and I can only say...PERFECT! From beginning to end this has been a wonderful stay. It was our first trip to the beach with our 2 month old. This condo had so much space and was so well equipped, we didn't lack a thing. The views from the condominium were unbeatable and surprisingly better than the pictures reflect. There is a good amount of privacy, yet you are steps from the elevators, parking, and pools! We are already looking to plan our next winter getaway. The rental contact, Nancy, was so quick to respond to any questions and the information given prior to check in was thorough and well thought out. Thank you Nancy!

Our first trip to the beach for a Thanksgiving holiday was truly a "Sanctuary by the Sea." The condo was just as beautiful as the pictures and the perfect size for our extended family vacation. Attention to detail was never spared. We loved the huge kitchen with professional appliances since we cooked a traditional Thanksgiving feast. Cooking was never so much fun! Our absolute favorite thing about the condo was the balcony overlooking the lake and gulf. Watching the sunset every night never got old. The weather was gorgeous all week and we were able to spend most days on or walking the beach. Something you can't do in the summer without sweating! We also rented bikes from "Beach Dog Bike Rentals." The owner, Bob, was extremely kind and helpful. We highly recommend it. Riding along 30A was so beautiful and relaxing that we rode every afternoon before sunset. Thank you Nancy for sharing your amazing home. You were so kind on the phone and easy to work with. I hope we can make this a new family tradition.

We have vacationed in the Destin area for the last 25 yrs and recently discovered the Blue Mountain Beach Area. While staying at the Adagio, we noticed an interesting property called "Sactuary By The Sea"......Well, we were fortunate enough to have been Nancy's guest from Oct. 15th to Oct 22nd and it was a bit of heaven! The complex is amazing, security was excellent and the condo was top notch! Sanctuary is such a unique property, with the lake and ocean side by side. The views from the condo were breath-taking. The pool areas were fantastic with hot tubs and fire pits. I believe we have found our "new favorite destination"!! Thanks again Nancy,

Such an awesome place for a getaway!!! Words truly cannot describe how amazing and beautiful this area is... It was our first getaway in years and it was way more than we ever expected!!! The pictures are beautiful but do not do this place justice!!! We spent every day and night on the NON-CROWDED, PRIVATE beach, the sunsets were more than anyone could ever imagine and the morning walks were so calm and peaceful. After the sunsets, we would come in, cook supper, then go straight to the balconies and just listen to the waves crashing against the shore. I remember the first night, we walked out onto the balcony and it was so beautiful how the moonlight lit up the sugar white sand and turquoise waters... a site that is so indescribable!!! I didn't know a beach could be so pretty at midnight!!! We didn't really get out much once we were there, but we did go parasailing in Destin at Just Chute Me! It was truly an amazing experience and we do recommend this place if you choose to go parasailing... very professional!!! Other than that, we just spent every second enjoying our surroundings! The weather was so perfect... cool nights and warm (not hot) days!!! The ocean was PERFECT!!! We spent a few days in Disney prior to our arrival and once we came here, our children (ages 4 and 7) completely forgot about Disney... NO KIDDING!!! It was nice interacting with the local residents out on the beach... amazing how so many of them were from KY!!! The property was spotless, amenities were way better than we could ask for, and Nancy deserves a huge pat on the back for her attention to details and kindness during the entire process... she answered every question without hesitation and in a quick, timely fashion! She is AWESOME!!! As much as we hate to share and tell more people about this little piece of Heaven on earth, we would HIGHLY recommend this place to our friends and relatives! Only complaint, and VERY minor... we wish the pools were heated during this time of year... the cool nights were just too much for the sun to be able to heat the water for use during the day. We consider ourselves blessed to have found this "sanctuary" and we are planning a BIG return!!! Thanks so much to Nancy Fox for her generosity and sharing!!!
