Our stay at VDV was beyond our expectations! The grounds and scenery were immaculate and breathe taking, proving to be the perfect setting for our stay.
Jeri and Michael have done an outstanding job anticipating the needs of any guest whether it is a board game, smores, or just the little details that you would never feel would be there for you.
The accomodations and facilities provided so much enjoyments that we never wanted to leave the premises - why, when you have everything there. You can enjoy many things outdoors, be competitive indoors, or relax in many very welcoming areas.
Whether you want activity or just relax from the world, this is a first class stay hosted by an INCREDIBLE, kind couple.
We will be back .... can't schedule our next stay quick enough!!

I would highly recommend this house to anyone. We were two couples each with a 2 year old and one nanny. It's location on Lake Travis is perfect. The house is gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need. We had two 2 year olds with us and it was great for them. There was plenty of space. Jeri and Michael, the owners, could not have been nicer. They were super responsive anytime we needed anything. We put our boat down in their slip for super easy access. The beds were very comfortable. The location has easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. I would gladly rent this house again. Beautiful pool, outdoor kitchen, badminton, fire pit, full kitchen, hot tub, movie room, gym, etc...

We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was well stocked, down to the last detail. And it was wonderful that pool was right out the door and had lots of floats and seating. We had plenty of room for the whole family and loved watching the beautiful sunsets on Lake Travis. Our hosts could not have been more generous or thoughtful. Can't wait to come back...

Villa de Vistas is truly amazing!

WOW! I will try to sum up our experience in a nutshell without repeating all of the other reviews (and I agree with each and every one of them).
This place is heavenly and the owners are equally amazing! We stayed for six nights and hated to leave. We brought our boat and the lake was very low but there were no problems accessing their boat dock and were still able to enjoy boating/tubing/wakeboarding. There are so many things to do here, you will not be disappointed.
We are already planning our next trip back to this beautiful resort, especially to visit their dog Hunny!

My wife and I were also privileged enough to have our wedding at Villa De Vistas just recently.
I would first like to say that Jeri and Michael went out of their way to make our stay perfect. They were friendly,kind and attentive and helped us with everything during and after the wedding. Second the home was amazing, and as mentioned before the photos dont do it justice . The view is probably one of the best ive seen on Lake Travis. The property is sorrounded with beautiful plants and flowers. Our kids enjoyed the great infinity edged pool,waterslide and all the amenities the game room had to offer. The adults got to enjoy the hot tub and the great view the next morning before stepping back in to reality. Jeri and Michael give vacation rental owners a great name, I hope to have the same experience in the future from other owners. Thanks again for all that you did for us it was a wonderful and memorable event for everyone.

Intimate Garden Wedding

Doug and I had the privilege of holding our wedding at Villa de Vistas, the first wedding to be held at this venue.
The moment we laid eyes on the property we fell in love. It was like being on a lovely Italian villa overlooking the Mediterranean...minus the long plane ride. So absolutely stunningly gorgeous. Once we talked to the gracious owners, Jeri & Michael, we knew we wanted to hold our initimate garden wedding at this stunning venue, from the infinity pool, to three story waterwall, fountains and flowers galore, you practically needed to add no additional decorations.
We had high hopes for our big day, and were not disappointed. The entire experience was better than we could ever have imagined; especially since we planned our entire wedding in just over two months. Jeri and Michael really were wonderful to work with, so accommodating and helpful.
We were able to stay two nights; the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding which came in handy for the rehearsal and set up of the decorations, and let me just say, the inside of the home is as beautiful as the exterior, no detail was overlooked. It was great to be able to stay the evening of the wedding...after we kicked all of our guests out of course! It was nice to just be able to relax and enjoy our time together without having to drive to a hotel.
We highly recommend Villa de Vistas as both a vacation rental and wedding venue. We can't say enough good things about it. Just breathtakingly gorgeous!

Kappa Phi Gamma Sorority Weekend Get Away

Our experience at this Lakehouse was more than what we expected. The owners have gone above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience at their property. The views are stunning and words can not describe the beauty of this property. Super clean, they had everything possilbe that you can imagine in their kitchen, bathrooms, living area, pool area. Next time I will just have to bring my bathing suit and that's it. I have never had a better experience at a rental property and again words can not even describe the amazing views of lake travis from this home. Thank you Michael for allowing us to experience such wonderful home / property!

We booked Villa de Vistas for our family of 5 - parents with 2 teenage boys and a 1 year old girl. It was the perfect place for all of us to have fun together. There is plenty of space to relax & enjoy the gorgeous views and more than enough activities to keep the teenagers happily occupied. The owners thoughtfully provided everything we needed for our vacation - not one detail -from plenty of fluffy towels to movie snacks & cold sodas in the theater room) was overlooked. We thoroughly enjoyed & highly recommend Villa de Vistas for families looking for a great getaway.

What a fabulous estate and the kind of hosts you only get in Texas! But what I truly loved was the pool and hot tub! I have never seen a pool or hot tub with the views and romance of this particular spot. I have traveled a lot, but with most places you have a lot of company rather you want it or not. But if what you want is a little solitude, and a nice relaxing place to think or read a good book, this is the place to rediscover yourselves.
This is a large estate. If you wander around there are surprises at every turn. I wandered to the docks and on the path around the waterfall as well as had coffee in the Grotto. I even went on the waterslide…three times! Just beyond the property there is a nice trail where you can take a long walk or jog through the hill country.
The hosts will give you as much or as little attention as you like. This is an art in itself. But they have also made sure that any whim you may have is within reach. They have even organized a book with all the local restaurants in the area, so if you don’t want to dine in, then the restaurant you are looking for is probably right around the corner.
They made sure we knew about “The Backyard” where it turns out Colbie Caillat and Sheryl Crow were playing, so we put on our boots and made sure we made it to the show. We had a blast! Then after the show we changed and headed to the hot tub which was ready for use.
The only disappointment was when it was time to go…can’t wait to go back! We are even thinking of having our 25 year anniversary event at this location. It will make a perfect spot to renew our wedding vows with our friends. I am dreaming of it already.
