Sea Wave Villa is a wonderful place to stay in Ducans. Once again we all had a wonderful time.The staff and people around Sea Wave were helpful from making incredible meals with local ingredients to planning our days of adventures such as hosre back riding, the nine mile(Bob Marley),Dunns Falls,trips to Falmouth,Ocho Rios,Montego Bay ect. We are planing to come back again for another vacation. The Villa was clean, bright full of character and steps from the beach /local watering hole /and shops. Our house keeper was top notch.Our driver was very dependable(Mr. depenable)
The local Bar(Leroy's) is like something out of an old Elvis Movie (a hidden jem)with the local fishermen and their fishing vessels just out to the side of the bar .The early morning husle to bring in their catch to sell to local house keeprs and their guest(red snapper /Lobster /jack fish/ crab ect. Local markets were always adventurace seeking that special gift for a loved one or just something one of a kind to bring back home. Restaurants well because we have had such great Jamaican cuisine we did'nt get out that much but there were a couple of restaurants that we found very good and the were Glisening Waters where you can sit down by the water and enjoy a great meal and or go on the water tour to whitness the ever so beutiful mystic colours of the glisening waters as well. Chill Out is another restaurant down by the water where you can indulge a great meal and veiw the para sailing.The Ruins is a buffet style lunch or dinner restaurant surrounded by beautiful falls and natural rain forest.Chukka Tours also have an impeccable service and tours to meet your every adventure.

With the gorgeous, usually empty beach, Gina's home cooking and friendly local Jamaicans we were pretty much guaranteed a good time. Henzly, a local driver with car, was definitely reliable and very easy to work with. Gina accompanied us to Duncan's where we grocery shopped at Chen's and then at the meat store down the street. We also bought beef patties at the nearby bakery twice. We climbed Dunn's River Falls even though it's a well known tourist attraction and still had a fun time. We took an all day trip to Negril to catch a little more island flavor.

The home has 3 ensuite bedrooms, not 2 as the listing says. It worked perfectly for our group of 5.

This is the second time staying at the property with my family. The experience this time matched up to the first time we visited. Of course, we are all looking forward to "Sea Waves" next July!

We could not have had a better time. Gina was excellent. She made sure we felt welcome where ever we went. Her cooking was to die for. The octupus, the conch and the lobster were simply amazing. We love the cottage and the beach. Hensley made sure that went anywhere we wanted. Everyone was so freindly we can not wait to go back.

I am a huge fan of this enclave in the Caribbean and have visited the bay several times

The staff at Ocean View have made this trip especially memorable assisting with our troublesome two year old daughter

We have been on several outings / day trips with the aptly named Mr Reliable ensuring we had the benefit of his local knowledge and a safe pair of hands at the wheel

The food has been delicious with Gina preparing and serving Lobster selected at the door from the local fisherman at $7 a pound it would crazy not to indulge

The local beach is far from the maddening crowd but night time entertainment can be found in the local bar with the local reggae band playing to a mixed crowd of locals and visitors on weekend nights

As we arrive home we are already planning a return trip with friends and family to the wonderful Ocean View Cottage and the paradise setting of Duncans Bay
