Wonderful Kona Getaway

This was our third trip to Country Club Villas, but our first time in this particular unit. It was a real gem. The property had everything we needed and more. The view from the master bedroom, living room and dining room is spectacular. Especially at sunset! The condo was very clean, well maintained and we definitely would return. The location makes shopping for groceries a quick five-minute trip. The Fairwinds excursions depart from Keauhou Bay, just a short walk or three-minute drive from the condo. And, it's within 20 minutes from the Place of Refuge and Kealakekua Bay, two locations we enjoy visiting. Grilling freshly caught local seafood on the patio was better than any restaurant. Can't wait to return. Owner was very helpful and responsive.

Outstanding place to stay

We have stayed in 3 other condos at the Country Club Villas and this was by far the nicest. There were fresh flowers and a welcome fruit basket by the owner. The condo had fresh breezes coming in all day which was wonderful. Everything was set up to help the renter have a hastle free time. Location is great. Just a short drive to the little shops on Alii Dr. Market close by. View of ocean and golf course. After a two week stay we didn't want to leave. Thank you Barb and Ray. Your the best!

Had a wonderful time in your condo. The goodie basket and flowers were a nice surprise. We felt very at home and comfortable with lots of room for everyone to have their own space. Enjoyed all the extras, beach chairs, etc. in the closet too. The unit was well equiped and even better than the pictures on the website showed with tile throughout the main floor. The views of the golf course and ocean are so relaxing and sunsets are beautiful. Hope we can come back in the future and I will definitely be recommending your unit to friends and family. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had and very nice to work with. Thank you again for an outstanding, relaxing place to stay.

Great location being 1 block to a nice shopping center with grocery store, Longs Drugs, several restaurants and other small retail shops. Sitting on balcony mornings & evenings with great golf course& ocean views is a nice way to end & begin the days! Condo is adjacent to pool which had minimal use from others while we were there. Very nice condo that has been updated recently. 7 miles to downtown Kona which is a nice drive but shuttle is avaiiable in the shopping center if desired. Hope to return in the future!

This is our second year at this amazing condo. This well-located unit is well equipped, clean, and to top it off beautiful. The view is unbelievable from the lanai, which is the perfect place to watch the golfers, barbeque, enjoy amazing sunsets, or just relax and enjoy the ocean view. The living area is bright and the air flow is such that we didn't once use the air-conditioning. The pool is right next door to the condo, making it very convenient for sunning, swimming and hot tubs. Less than a five minute walk to shopping, restaurants, and gourmet coffee, just adds to all the attractions.
This unit is so comfortable that it becomes our home away from home while we are in Kona. We will be back!

Thanks for the great accomodations Barb! Everything was beautiful and clean upon our arrival, with no unpleasant surprises at all. It was great being so close to the pool for the kids, and having only the golf course between us and the ocean! You're wonderfully located minutes away from an amazing snorkelling beach and the KLM market was very convenient for all of our grocery needs. The back room was ideal for our teenage daughter with access to her own bathroom, and our sons (7 & 11) loved the loft!
It was very pleasant dealing with you, as you always replied promptly to any questions we had while arranging the rental, and accurately described the area and all we could expect. All of the beach gear in the guest bedroom was much appreciated, and we made daily use of the beach chairs and cooler. We heartily recommend your condo to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Kona!

This unit was furnished better than any I`ve rented though VRBO either in Hawaii or the mainland.
Barb and Ray did a great job in upgrading their condo and even had a welcome package waiting
for us when we arrived. We hope to return to their rental in years to come.
