We just come back from Rome and we love it. The apartment is big, and clean and the decoration is beautiful. The owner Andrea is very nice, he helped us a lot. We shared the apartment with a friend and everybody had enough space. The train station Euclide is minutes away and the first stop is Piazza del Popolo beautiful.. we walked from there everyday and it was fantastic. We will comeback to Rome for sure and stay at the same apartment.

Spacious & Lovely Rome Apartment!

We stayed in this apartment for several nights in October. We were 3 adults and 3 children under age 10. The apartment is beautifully decorated but comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us. The terrace was an added bonus. The beds were the most comfortable we have encountered -- other than our own. ArtApart Rome is located in a fairly quiet neighborhood (by Rome standards), quite safe, and well situated with easy access by bus to the central station and other areas. There are good cafes and food shops in the neighborhood. All in all, it was a wonderful visit and we would not hesitate to book this apartment again. Andrea and Isabella were absolutely wonderful hosts.

Fantastic apartment!

Great location, very quiet with easy access to bus and train. Several nice restaurants and coffee shops just a couple of blocks away. Andrea was super helpful getting us into the apartment and providing logistical info. By European standards this apartment is enormous. It was very clean, everything worked well, and the a/C was ice cold. There is a washing machine in the kitchen which was very convenient. We enjoyed sitting on the covered patio in the evening. We would highly recommend this apartment!

We had a great time with the family here. Place was close to the Metro and although the grocer was a bit of a walk, doing it once is enough to get all the essentials one needs for several days. Church is near for the prayerful and the great thing about this apartment is that it's located in a safe neighborhood. Thanks to andrea for all his tips. We will use it again should we return to Rome.

We stayed at ArtApart with our 2 children. Beautiful and well-appointed apartment. Exceeded our expectations. Great location in one of Rome's nicest residential neighborhoods with excellent restaurants and shops and easy access via metro, bus or taxi to all the sites. Perfect for either a family or up to 3 couples. We will recommend this apartment to all our Rome-bound friends. Andrea was a great help with recommendations for tour guides and neighborhood tips. Thank you, Andrea!

A nice stay, despite the snow

We had a long weekend stay, which included two days of very heavy snow.
However, the apartment is very well heated and it was good to come home to such pleasant warmth.
Andrea arranged a very efficient shuttle service to and from the airport and met us at the property, explaining its workings and providing maps and information on the local area.
There are three very spacious bedrooms, two good bathrooms, a large dining room, a well-equipped kitchen with another dining area, and a lounge.
There is also a balcony for dining - although that was not used during our stay!
The property was clean and well-furnished. Bedding and towels were spotless.
The decoration is by local artists and is very, very idiosyncratic, but interesting.
It is in a quiet street in a very select area. However 5 minutes walking takes you to the Piazza Euclide. Here there are some decent restaurants, bars and cafes.
There is also a bus service and a very efficient train service - one stop / 5 minutes takes you into Flaminio / Piazza del Popolo and a travel card gives you transport anywhere in the city at a very reasonable price.
A good base for seeing Rome, but also in a safe and quiet area.
Owner's Response: Dear Derek,

I really appreciate your good words and I hope to see you and your family the next time here in Rome.

All the best and regards!

Andrea

Amazing Apartment Experience

What a find! The apartment was even more spacious than the online information indicated. Every room was so creatively decorated and immaculately clean. Andrea is a true gentleman and was a pleasure to deal with. His recommendations on local dining as well as help with finding overnight accomodations in Firenze were superb. I have already recommended the apartment to my cousin (an artist herself) who is planning a trip to Rome later this year. Grazie di tutto!
Owner's Response: Thank you Gabrielle for your good word.
I really appreciated your comment!

All the best and I hope to see you and your family next time.

Great place to stay in Rome

My family and I stayed at the art apartment in Rome and were completely satisfied. We were close to the metro and had a place we could call "home" during our stay in Rome. The washer made it easier to pack less and the kitchen had everything we needed to make any kind of meal we wanted. Beds were good size and mattresses were firm. A/C was nice and cool. Andrea and Marco were very helpful with directions and booking local activities. We would definitely stay there again.

a r t a p a r t r o m e in Rome

  • Submitted: Dec 27, 2011

In July of 2011, our family stayed at the a r t a p a r t r o m e in Rome. The apartment was much larger then the photos indicated and immaculately clean. Also, the layout was great for our large family, 2 adults and 4 kids, 11, 8, 7, and 3. There was ample space for everyone to have a place to relax in the evenings and for some of the meals we ate at 'home”. The air-conditioning worked well and was much appreciated after a hot day in the sun.

The location worked well for our family, but you are a little bit out of walking distance from the sites. We had no problem with the train and appreciated the quite evenings during the height of tourist season.

On a small note...I really appreciated that they left some of the basic supplies, dish soap, salt, pepper, olive oil etc... So many rentals clear everything out and having these little extras there was really is thoughtful.

I also loved that there was a DVD player that would play Dvds from the us and a nice size TV. Again...very thoughtful and comfortable, especially for the little ones.

Overall, this was an excellent rental and I hope to return again with my family.
