Just spent two weeks with my two daughters and their families at this wonderful house. My wife and I were very content in the upstairs room , spending many evenings on the balcony admiring the great view and dolphin spotting.

My grandchildren enjoyed the pool (as did their parents) and spent most of their spare time splashing about.

The house was very spacious and maintained to a high standard with everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

We would have no hesitation in recommending the property to our friends and family should they wish to vacation on wonderful Marco Island.

My family and I (with our extended family - 10 people) stayed in this beautiful home for a week. We brought out boat; which we docked right behind the home on a well kept and spacious dock. The home was in excellent condition and had access to the gulf in just minutes. We all had a fantastic time with water sports, going to the beach, fishing and cruising around the thousands of islands in the area. The pool and jacuzzi were excellent; jacuzzi heated really quickly for a nice wind-down.

Nice place! Look forward on renting again next year! =)

Where to start? The view when you walk through the front door I suppose and look straight out across the pool to the canal and dock. It takes your breath away. We were looking for a nice peaceful holiday and the property surpassed even what we were expecting. Having arrived before our friends we could have a good look round and choose the room that we wanted. (Actually room does not do it justice). We chose the master bedroom complete with twin basins, walk-in wardrobe, bath, shower and WC.
Our friends chose the upstairs bedroom complete with screened balcony also with a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom, but the other two downstairs rooms were equally lovely.
The kitchen is everything that you could wish for. The large fridge freezer is perfect for holding all of the food and drink that you would need but if there are four families then there is another large one in the garage too. We particularly liked the wet bar too and made good use of it.
The chances are that like us you will not spend too much time in the house itself as there is plenty of seating and space outside, perfect for having alfresco breakfast/lunch/dinner/evening drinks etc. We also made good use of the gas grill for steaks and bratwurst sausages and some prawn skewers. Incidentally Publix are very good value for food and drink (1.5 litre bottles of very acceptable Chardonnay for $7.99).
We also saw dolphins regularly swimming in the canal and when I was on the dock fishing on our last afternoon I also had an 8ft nurse shark swim under the deck at my feet as well as a large tarpon swimming in the canal about 15ft away.
Our favourite places to eat were the Snook Inn, Stilts and the Capri Fish House and Tommy Bahamas in Naples. Breakfasts out were either at Susie's diner or Hoots. Had some great buttermilk pancakes at the house including some rather spectacular blueberry ones.
Trips included the airboats at Everglades city, the Dolphin Explorer (a must!) and rather extravagantly a day down at Key West flying from Fort Myers. We also hired a boat from Marco marina and had a great day in the backwaters picnicking, fishing and just lazing but watch the sun reflecting off the water, it's hotter than you think! We used the fishing tackle from the house too. Also did some shopping at Miramar outlets and in Naples.
Isa was constantly in touch by email too which was very helpful.
We will absolutely certainly be coming back here as it is so lovely. I could write more but there is no more space!

The best thing about this villa was the fabulous views of the canal intersection outside! The main living areas had been recently refurbished to a high standard, in a sage green/dusty pink/cream colour scheme, with a new floor. The downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms appeared to be a 'project-in-progress', seeming tired and in need of refurbishment to the same standard as the living areas. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything you need, including a kettle that whistles on the range not a plug-in one! Apparently, the hot-tub no longer works and we were asked not to use it by the pool boy. The 'next-door' beach is actually 3 miles away and a car is recommended! We enjoyed Porky's and Stilts (at sunset) for eating. Thanks to Isa for answering all our questions before the holiday and for agreeing to let us moor a boat at the dock, although this was more a good intention than a reality in the end!

We stayed in this property in October and it's better than the photos- large spacious rooms, great pool, and excellent dock for fishing. The outlook from the dock and lanai is wonderful and we saw the dolphins sometimes twice a day when the tide was coming in. The fishing was good with a variety of fish to be caught and thrown back again.
We loved this property as all the bedrooms were a great size, having 2 master suites was good and with 4 bathrooms even better! Newly tiled floors in the bathrooms kitchen and den make it look better than the photos
We did have some issues with the washing machine and the telephone and wifi but the rental company was great sending a handyman and the phone company very quickly so no complaints there - we also had internet contact with the owner from the rental company's office so we knew what was going on and now there is a lovely new washing machine in the property.
Sadly the jacuzzi/spa doesn't really bubble like you would expect but you can put the heat on in it and make it warm like a bath.
The property is in a quiet cul de sac so no traffic noise (not that there is much on Marco) and this is one of the nicest properties we have stayed on on the island (been coming since 1998) and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it or coming back again although looking at the booking calendar it looks very popular!
Places we recommend to eat are Snooks for the fish buffet, Joeys for great pizza and Michelbobs in Naples for the best ribs Breakfast Plus for breakfast was a great hit for my family - we have tried others on the island and always come back to this one every time we visit..
Sunday afternoons are great at Stans on Goodlands live music, motor bikes eclectic mix of people sunshine beer dancing a few jokes from Stan really fun. We went to the flea market in Fort Myers and drove across to the casino in Immokalee (1st time for us) and using the coupons from the free newspapers had a couple of hours fun for not much money as they give you $20 to play with. A night at the greyhounds in Naples is also fun but they don't have live racing until November,
Can't wait to come back and this property is definitely bookmarked for us for the next time

A perfect place to rent. Marco has all the elements of a perfect vacation - beach, boating, restaurants, parks, and sunset photos. The house is in close proximity to it all. I even walked to the beach for excercise! Most nights we chose to stay¨"at home" to cook in the party-atmosphere kitchen with grill by the pool. The rooms are spaced out so we could easily have privacy when needed - perfect for several couples or someone with small children on a sleeping schedule. Hot, strong showers in 3 of the 4 bedrooms and in the extra full bathroom. Comfortable beds. Dolphins even swam under our feet while sitting on the dock! Open waterviews too. The owners were very responsive when we e-mailed to ask questions about the house. The hottub works but has a reddish color. We will stay there again for sure!
