Relax in this beautifully decorated, newly built, contemporary log cabin situated two blocks from Lake Wallenpaupack and Deer Lake. This year round log home is located in Wallenpaupack Lake Estates, a lake community with many extra amenities such as two outdoor pools with grill & picnic areas, sand beach on lake, an indoor heated pool with sauna, private 'community only' boat ramps and docks on Lake Wallenpaupack, tennis courts, beach volleyball, baseball field, basketball, kid's lodge with games/play ground, and skateboarding park.

The home has 3 bedrooms (all Queen beds), 2 Full Bathrooms, and can comfortably accommodate 6 adults. A large covered front deck, rear deck with gas grill, full kitchen (including microwave, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, 6-person dishware/silverware, cooking utensils and plenty of pots & pans), full-size washer/dryer, dining area, HD cable TV, DVD player, Wireless Internet and ample parking for you and your boat, are just some of the perks.

Nice quiet vacation! Lovely house!

We had a wonderful week at the cabin. Everything we needed was provided so packing and unpacking was easy. Just had to buy food. We loved sitting on the porch relaxing and reading. The beds were so comfy, i hate my bed at home now. The property was well maintained and when we needed something the owner took care of a remedy quickly. the touch pad to get in and out was so much more convienent than a key. Loved kayaking although the life jackets were a bit small for us. Area amenities were about 20- 25 minutes away.

Beyond Our Expectations

From the moment we stepped into this beautiful home, it was beyond all our expectations. This was the first vacation rental for us ever and now we will always set future rentals to this one. There were very well thought out comforts provided such as the fishing poles, life jackets for kayaks, beach chairs, beach towels, games, movies, housewares and cozy home decor. The kids enjoyed the two nearby lakes and the swimming pools. The home was very spacious and cozy. We would love to come back and would highly recommend our family and friends to come here for a relaxing vacation.

Excellent Vacation Cabin Rental

My family and I enjoyed a very relaxing and enjoyable week at this wonderful cabin located in Wallenpaupak Lake Estates in the Poconos. Everything was as advertised by the owners.The cabin itself is nicely appointed, very clean and well maintained. All the little "extra's" that are provided including the Kayaks, BBQ grill, movies, games, linens etc. added to our enjoyment. The ability to walk to either the "big" lake or smaller Deer Lake (which has a very nice sandy beach area with lifeguards) and access to the Fitness center also added to our experience. The front porch/deck area provides a great place to relax and watch the occasional deer and chipmunks who stop by for visits. The rear deck was great for grilling, the hammock in the back was also a nice added feature which we used. The owners provided excellent communication and guidance, our overall experience was 5 star (excellent) and I would recommend this location to any family looking for an affordable, relaxing vacation getaway.

Spectacular Home!

While part of me wants to keep this treasure to myself (lol), I have to share that this is one of the best rentals I've come across. The Owners take the time to make it a home -- not just a place to rent. When you read, as I have, just pack you clothes and leave the rest to us -- Well Renne and Heather make it a reality. They thought of everything, all the little touches that most of us wind up running out to WalMart of elsewhere to buy because we forgot them. We stayed four days and it was wonderful. I've shared with them -- and I'll share with anyone who's reading this review -- we'll be back to stay again. Thank you for sharing your home with us -- the Sierra Family!

Wonderful Cabin!!

We just returned from a 4 night stay at this beautiful cabin and absolutely loved it. Everything mentioned in the description and other reviews was spot on. Our boys, ages 10 and 8, loved the basement area where they could play hoops, darts and checkers. The cabin is very clean and well stocked with games, movies, linens, kitchen wares, recreation equipment and outdoor seating. We enjoyed kayaking and fishing at the community lake which was just a few blocks away and also rented a boat to ski and tube at the nearby Lake Wallenpauck. The cabin community felt very safe and had wonderful amenities. Bushkill Falls is just about an hour away and was well worth the trip. We loved hiking on the red trail. The cabin owners were very responsive during the reservation process and sent us a great welcome packet with all sorts of good information about local stores and restuarants as well as maps. They made themselves very available to help answer any questions along the way. We will definitely book this cabin again when we return to the Poconos.

Wonderful retreat

We absolutely loved this log cabin! The 6 of us fit very comfortably in this log cabin home. I am extremely picky as to where I stay and this house was spotless and had all the amenities that one could ask for. We loved seeing the deer every morning and evening as we sat on the deck. We really created a great memory in your home and we can't thank you enough for providing your lovely cabin in the woods!! The lakes were beautiful as well.

Memorable family weekend

My husband and I rented this cabin for our parents for Mother's Day, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The home was perfect, and had all of the amenities we could need! We even had a deer that came to visit us!

Just what we needed.

My family and I just wanted to let you know that we truly loved the cabin. The cabin, and all its ammenities were exactly what was described to us. There were plenty of board games to play at night and lots of dvds to watch for our daughter. The people were so friendly around the community both staff and residents. Though we booked the cabin for a snowy wintery getaway, we ended enjoying the cozy front porch and firepit in the backyard. We would highly recommend this cabin for anyone or any family looking to get away from the daily grind of the big city.

Awesome! Cozy!

This cabin was very warm and inviting in every way possible. It had all the comforts of home and then some! The extras were amazing. We all wanted to move in permanently. The owners were very accomodating with communication and easy booking. This is a very well managed community and provides everything you could want in a home away from home. Hope to return in the future!
