I went with 4 of my friends for a weekend and we had a great time. The place was very clean and the owner was very helpful. He let us check in early and always promptly responded. It was only a few miles from a wal-mart and a bunch of different food places. Thankfully it was nice out on Saturday and we lit a fire. Would gladly go back anytime!

My husband and I decided for our honeymoon that we wanted to stay somewhat close to home, and what we wanted most off all was to RELAX! I came across this cabin and fell in-love, Steve was amazing from the first contact to following up after our vacation (5 stars for him too!) The cabin was everything it promised to be, it was roomy, but definitely cozy and comfy! We went horseback riding, fishing, out to restaurants and even outlet shopping. I have to say tho my favorite day we spent there was a chilly/rainy day that we stayed in, watched movies all day, cooked steak on the grill and had a bonfire that night, it was perfect! We will definitely be returning and don't hesitate for a second to reccomend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! The cabin was spotless, well loved, and came equipped with all cooking utensils, and even wood for the bonfire, towels and linnens were available, and anything that you discover you forgot or need is easily accesible about a mile away at the local super walmart.

We stayed in this mountain home for the Thanksgiving weekend and had a wonderful time. We had family coming in from western PA and this was a perfect spot to meet them halfway. The price was cheap so we were not expecting much, but when we got there we were amazed. Everything was clean and well kept.
The owner left us coupons for the nearby outlets and we spent all day there on black friday. On Saturday we built a fire outside and had a blast. It was so relaxing.
I must say this place really is cozy n comfy. On Sunday there we are rushing to pack up and check out and we find out we have the NFL ticket. Now nobody wants to leave so we call the owner to see how much it would be to stay and he gives us an evening check out for free. From start to finish everything was great. I definitely recommend this place and guarantee we will be back.

me and a group of friends stayed for a weekend to get away.it was so pretty in the fall! we had such a fun time it was the best cabin we stayed in very clean and lots of space. The lake is right across the street which was great. i would def stay here again the owner was very helpful and answered all our questions!

We had such a great time and enjoyed the house and the local amenities to the fullest. We are a family with three young children and the house was more then sufficient in size, we had family and friends visit and it comfortably fit two more adults and two kids. Steve was amazing in being there with advice and anything we need, he was prompt and responsive. The house had all the basics, paper, silverware, bbq utensils, and cooking implements. We loved having a second floor with additional living room, and my husband was able to work from there with decent internet connection, definitely a plus. The space in front of the house is great for sitting around the fire or having a meal.
We loved the pool and the lake that is five minutes walking at toddler pace. The play ground and Tennis courts were also very close and great for use on a day that is not warm enough for swimming. The lake with its very clean beach was great for afternoon relaxation and sand play. The lake has free pedal boats that you can go on if the lifeguards were on duty. The pool was clean and never really crowded especially during the week.
We loved the whole experience and would definitely rent the place again.

Property worked out good. Description fairly accurate. It was roomy enough for everyone except the bathrooms which were tight. The screen and sliding doors were hard to open and the screen doors kept popping off occassionally - just need some oil. We did trip a breaker a few times - I think with hair dryers maybe, but otherwise fine. Would be nice to have a dresser in the master bedroom but probably pretty hard with the king size bed which we liked the room. It does have a closet though. The kids xbox hooked up great which was a plus along with all the stocked movies and liked the outside balcony upstairs. Some of the kitchen drawer fronts are ready to come off but nice to have a stocked kitchen and 2 fridges ,dish soap and paper towels. Hot water took awhile to reheat but then again, we had eight people taking showers. Overall felt it could be just a little more maintained on the inside but it wasn't too bad though. The air conditioners upstairs worked great and the downstairs did stay fairly cool. The outside was great. Appreciated the firewood and fire pit, we had fires every night. And love how its a little secluded in the trees. The gas grill was also great. Appreciate the extra gas grill tank! A short walk to the lake and pool was nice too. Anyway, thought the price seemed reasonable and were able to get an early checkin. The owner also was always responsive to my phone calls which was nice. One of the kids was able to walk right up to a fawn in the early morning as it was grazing near the pine trees, pretty neat!

This place was Amazing! literally everything was perfect, from the beautiful lake to the beautiful wildlife this place had everything. Theres plenty of stores around, and the community is great. Definitely will plan another vacation here.

We ventured out to the Poconos for the infamous "Tough Mudder" competition. We had a total of 7 people in our party and we had a blast. The place sleeps 8 very comfortably and easily could have slept 10. The place really is "Cozy and Comfy!" We spent everynight at the Cabin around a fire. We grilled outside nearly ever meal and we even were able to take in the NFL draft on Direct TV. We ate each meal around the dining room table and had smores outside for dessert. We didn't realize there was a washer and dryer available which was a plus and came in handy. There were two full baths which came in handy as well. I guess if we had to complain about anything it would be that we should have booked a longer trip. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The gated community was very secure and safe. The lake was absolutely gorgeous but we were unable to take advantage of ammenities like that due to the weather. There are so many things to do in the Pocono area that we wished we could have stayed longer.
