This has to be one of the most unique log properties in Minnesota. It was built on the site of a logging camp back in the 1920's, is almost 3000 square feet and great for entertaining large groups.
The sloping hardwood floors add character to the hand hewn beam, vaulted rooms. An expansive four season porch seats up to 40 people for dining or serene relaxation overlooking the lake. The picture windows on the 4 season porch open to create an airy, fragrant screen porch during warmer months. The large, level grassed yard is ideal for tented events like weddings, family reunions or large outdoor activities during the summer.

We celebrated a wonderful family time together as we extended our 50th wedding anniversary!! We (grandma and grandpa) had so much fun with Am and Jon, Ann and Curt and sons (12-9) and Carl and Kelly and girls (6-4). We cooked together, read books, played cards and had movie nights with popcorn. Uncle Curt brought his boat and we saw our grand kids try out tubing, wakeboarding, and becoming very good at it. We also did fishing (not too good), kayak and paddleboat. It was all alot of fun. But the most fun for me (grandma) was to have out family share good times all together.

Don and Bettys 50th Wedding Anniversary wiith all of their children and most of the grandchildren! We had a wonderful time together enjoying the beautiful views, relaxing, swimming, tubing, kayaking, fishing, canoeing, playing games and cooking. What a fantastic place to celebrate and create new memories together! So nice to be able to stay all together in one big place. We loved it!

Perfect Get-Away Cabin
We rented this cabin for a family reunion and it was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was very well-maintained and spacious. We loved the indoor fireplace and large screened-in porch. We also enjoyed the outdoor bonfire pits and fishing off the docks. The area was also very peaceful and quiet and you could hear the Loons on the water! Doug was so easy to work with and very accommodating! It's a great cabin for a big family get-together.

Spacious and well equipped log cabin
We stayed at this wonderful cabin in the woods for several days during Grandma's Marathon. At one point we had six families sharing this spacious old lodge. The huge front porch with huge windows was a great place for the kids to run around when they weren't down at the dock playing with the kayak and paddle boat. They ranged in age from 16 to 2 and all had fun. The adults found the big living room a great place to congregate and appreciated the Wi-Fi and cable TV for relaxation after the kids went to bed. The kitchen has everything needed to cook for even very large groups. Overall we had a terrific time and would rent this cabin again.
