Great Location But a Mixed Review

We absolutely love the location of this home - an amazing grocery store is a few blocks away, two world-class restaurants (Nopalito & Nopa) are around the corner and the access to public transportation makes a car completely unnecessary. The home itself is good, but not great.
Overall, we found the main floor to be very comfortable (once the heat was fixed) with plenty of room to a have a large group for dinner or to hang out. The bedrooms on this floor are nicely appointed and very comfortable. The kitchen contained everything we needed and much more. The BBQ is on its last leg (I had to dig out a pile of rusted metal before I cooked, but it functioned fine).
The downstairs wasn't as nice as the upstairs. The bedrooms, while comfortable, felt a little dirty with spider webs (and spiders) next to the bed in the large bedroom. The bedding also seemed worn (yellow pillows and minor stains on the sheets). The downstairs bath was acceptable, but the door wouldn't close unless you moved the carpet and the faucet was lose and moved around when you tried to turn it off. It worked fine, but it was just a little weird. During our stay the upstairs neighbor locked himself out and spent an hour yelling at the top of lungs (at 2am). It was mildly disconcerting/annoying, but things like that happen.
Overall, the apartment is spacious, reasonably priced and in a great location. The only downside is that the place doesn't feel neat and clean. With a new minor improvements the apartment would be fantastic.

Best stay ever

Very clean and modern apartment. It was bigger than expected (really big) and had everything we needed (and more). What we liked is that it was a quiet street. The beds are comfortable and there was more soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. than we could use in a week. The owner is friendly and everything was perfectly arranged. This is the best stay ever and we did not wanted to leave anymore.

Excellent choice in property.

This house is very comfortable and centrally located. Our family stayed there at the end of the July. It was a very good decision, it allowed us to have a more home away from home vacationm rather then a congested hotel. The house has aweseome bathrooms. The reservation process was extremely easy and everyone at Boutika is VERY ACCOMODATING. Thanks

Maison spacieuse et très agréable

Dernier refuge de notre périple aux Etats-Unis , nous avons investi cette maison à 10 (2 familles avec 6 ados) !! et cela à été vraiment génial .
La maison est bien située , dans un endroit calme . Le Bus N°5 (Juste au dessus sur Fulton Street) vous envoi directement dans le centre ville (Sur Market Street) .
le rapport qualité - prix de cette maison est excellent.
A recommander !!!!

Amazing Centrally located Home!!

Last year my sister (who lives in SF) got married. The family was coming in from all across the United States, so I wanted us to all be centrally located. I did check into hotels, but the enticement of the whole family staying together in one place was so much better. My family throughly enjoyed our stay at this poperty. It was so wonderful to be together in one place for the special occasion. The home met all of our needs, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. There was plenty of room for everyone, and when we all had to get ready for the wedding, having three bathrooms got us ready on time. The beautiful large home was very clean and very well maintained. The pictures do not do this home justice, it is updated with the charm of the home intacted. The back deck and yard were a nice surprise in the middle of the large city. The Boutikia staff was so helpful and attended to any needs or questions that we had before and during our stay. The home is located close to so many attractions and transit lines, if needed. Just a short walk, a couple of blocks, are the "Painted Ladies" next to a nice park. Grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, bars all very close by to this home. My family and I are so glad we stayed at this home, it made my sisters special day so much better.

Huge House Near Panhandle of GG Park

I was in town working with a group of people who are all close and we opted for this house over all staying in separate hotel rooms. This house was big, comfortable and well cared for. Great back porch for hanging out after working hard all day. We cooked in the kitchen for several meals, which had everything we needed. The neighborhood is great too. Very central to much of the city with great bars, restaurants and corner stores within walking distance. Much much better option than staying at a hotel. I lived in SF for years, and this felt like I was right back at home. We had a car, which was helpful, but it isn't totally necessary staying here since buses and other public transportation are very close by.

Good balance of size, and proximity to sight seeing - at the right price

This place was just perfect for our needs: lots of family in town for a wedding. Very spacious with enough room for 8 of our family members. The kitchen area was perfect for social gathering, and we even hosted a BBQ dinner and used the patio area. The location is great, close to restaurants on Divisadero (Little Star Pizza is good for a casual, large group meal), and close to Golden Gate Park, and public transportation. Our family came from Germany, and they felt very comfortable in the neighborhood, and they took advantage of the nearby bus routes, in order to travel to sight seeing locations.
The only issues we had:
- for some reason, the clothes washer and dryer was missing (possibly being repaired??) But, the property manager offered us free cleaning services at a nearby wash n go
- the parking spot is shared with the neighbor. While it's good that the car is inside a garage, you must coordinate with the neighbors if your car is parked behind theirs. Also, there seemed to often be an additional car parked outside, but blocking, the garage door. This then required an additional party to coordinate with in order to get the car out to the street.
Overall, we would def recommend it to out of towners, due to size, location and price.

Amazing house, great location and heaps of space for everyone. Staff were so friendly and helpful and we couldn't have asked for better. Easy access to public transport. Amazing Mexican restaurant up the road too!

this unit is wonderful and near golden gate park. it is centrally located in sfo and near pier 39 and all the famous icons of sfo. i would definitely rent this unit again.
